Installed some new amber LED daytime running lights in the V...
You have to drop the front bumper to get to the headlight bolts, but since I ordered those new CBI bulbs, I figured now would be a good time to take a dry run on getting them in...because if they failed, at least I needed back into the headlights again.
Okay, fine...I'm just impatient.

Took the opportunity to throw some plastidip on some surface rust that was visible on the bumper support through the grill, along with a spot that the black coating was missing on the lower radiator (also visible through lower grill).

Zoe definitely looks like dad.. She has that confused look!

Nice ambers J.. definitely subtle and distinctive. I'm surprised you didn't go the opposite direction and put 6K LEDs.

I actually am looking into getting it repainted. I was surprised by what a difference it made on blue and thought if I had known that, I would have done it to my black TL years earlier.

LMAO, thank Joe...it's kinda weird but if she goes and naps on the weekends, sometimes I'll put off doing something to the car or yard work so I can do it with her. Kinda counter intuitive but as long as there's activity, she's so good and it feels like I got a buddy hangin with me! Plus, you know...she won't be super prissy when she gets older hopefully.

Yeah, can't lie...for the fogs, I want matching 5000K but that's mostly for visibility...
for the DRL, I think the amber on black looks very classy and understated, like you can tell something is different, but not that I went and slapped some CDM led goodness in there.

lol I've been rusty. that "toy" is stock except for the performance exhaust. the Evo is stock at 651 miles. but the RDX and the Sportback have enough bright LEDs inside you need sunblock.

Neither of those colors have as much flake as the black diamond tri-coat.
To be honest, I'm kinda okay not having it since it's hard to match.
Betty also said it looked like a bowling ball finish when I showed her the difference.

After owning 4 black cars ( I love black cars) there was no way I wanted another because I am too OCD with my paint. That's why I have been going with White Pearls and Silver Metallics recently in order to keep my sanity.

However, what I did like about the Black Diamond paint was that it hides swirls and imperfections a lot better than the Raven Black, but the RB has more depth.

More importantly, your daughter is adorable...
