Probably want to install that snorkel first..

Not that it'll help.
But it'll look cool.

LMAO, I fucking love when I see those snorkels higher up than the driver...I'm like "hey babe...that motherfucker would be drown(t) and his car still won't have hydrolocked."

Fun fact, snorkels aren't for preventing water from getting into the engine. They're actually for preventing dust from getting in by putting the intake above whatever dust is kicked up by the car in front of you.

Bro, 3 feet of water would barely hit my running boards.

That wouldn't be a bad idea. In addition, if you are not already packing, maybe even a peashooter of some sort, you know, for the occasional akistrodon piscivorus, agkistrodon contortrix, or sistrurus miliarius et al that may unexpectedly threaten your joy.

That looks like great fun and nice Jeep!

or my gorgeous lady...shit, you already know.

Sam, you ruin all my smarts! That is pretty cool to know!

Ha! Nope, no snorkel for me. My next purchases will be a new front bumper, rock rails, and a HD tire carrier. Waiting for black friday to pull the trigger on these.

If you really look around you either know someone that had one and loved it...or has one...or misses it and will find another...or has never had one.
There's no in between. You either have it and love it or have never owned one. I am finding that out now.

My recent test drive was the first time I've had a 'real' drive in one outside of moving used cars around when I worked at a Chevrolet dealer in college.

Otherwise, vicarious living through you guys & my dad has a CJ5 (I think) on jack stands in his shop. Belongs to the rancher that leases out our property in S TX for cattle, getting it back to running order so we can use it during deer season & his ranch hands have a decent runabout to use on the property.

I talk shit about jeeps because of the shitheads in the community of owners.
Just like they may talk shit about Toyota, they can't really. Because dumb.
..Or Ford, easy. Dodge, see Jeep. Lesbaru, c'mon too easy.

But no fucking way will some high brow fuck ever talk shit about the others.
Fucking Land Rover, eat your mustard sandwich and take your fuccboi friend Mercedes with you.

Nah, you can a landcruiser, 4runner, G wagen (lol), FJ cruiser, etc. The difference is none of those are as easy to mod into being a monster off road and total dogshit on road. Also, the Toyotas are more trail vehicles than rock crawlers. A stock or stock+ Jeep is similar (trail not crawl) but people obviously turn them into another thing entirely.

Kinda did. I won't profess to knowing much about this demographic...just that yeah, Jeeps et al can handle terrain most cars can't. But, that being said, I have always lusted for Defenders and the Merc G-Class.

Well, it was a short 'around the block'-ish test drive (10 mins?) with the salesman in tow.
Neighborhood & a few speed humps, no highway.

If the pricing had been where we wanted it, we were going to take it overnight to get a real feel for it.

I didn't find it uncomfortable, and was surprised at the decent stereo.
