And if no one marks the trap or you're the first to get tagged in the trap.
Let me guess, follow the speed limit

Radar detectors have saved me many times from getting my shit pushed in
Plus if your radar detector has a lot of false positives, you're not doing it right
Most modern radar detectors are real good about filtering BSM, CAS, and other local radar from cars
V1 used to pitch how GPS lockout just helps the popo set traps for the unsuspecting
But GPS lockout is great and doesn't lockout da popo, they're almost always on a separate band

just never be the first one in a line speeding...
which leads me back to waze.
The problem was the update for my V1 was almost as
expensive as a replacement...I found that I'd get so many
false positives that I'd mute it automatically anyway.
Know when you you can speed...if you've ever seen a trap,
never speed near there...be vigilant. First time I got the V1
I was so annoyed at it not alerting me to cops and then I
realized it wasn't a cop finder.
which leads me back to waze.

That's what every agency around here uses so radar detectors are really not popular around here. Unless you have a jammer (illegal), it's pointless.
Or the last person in line speeding... By and large, if you're doing ~7 over or less you're fine. 10 over and you're pushing your luck, 15 over and you're for sure getting pulled over.

Shit.. if you don't have cash for lidar jammer.. just make sure your car is faster.
Pretty simple shit.

I got tagged last month...or is it called "pegged".
59 in a 40...but I was in a loaner. Gdammit...a trap.
A cop buddy called in a favor and they're gonna drop it
but I had already paid an attorney to go fight for me.
Sucks to suck.

I don't run a radar detector anymore. But I'm a white guy. I get pulled over, the cop says sorry, and let's me go.

Step 1: be white.
Step 2: don't be not white.
Step 3: get out of tickets.

So...gotta ask...maybe it's a gwai-ro thing...
But, what is with people liking to rest their left arm on the window frame of the car door versus the actual lower-positioned arm-rest? I tried it when I looked over at some guy looking smug in his Euro-car and it's very uncomfortable. Like, unless I'm just sitting too low. How is that comfy at all other than...having a "look"?
