Depending on the Porsche model I couldn't say I would argue with that but only a specific few.

Only J would choose a Volvo over an Audi
and a German econobox over an American Muscle Car
Get wrecked!

2008 Camry SE 133K miles $9800, traded for $7200 to get TL.
2008 TL 103K miles, paid $8900 minus trade value, got $5300 when I traded for Optima.
2011 Optima 165K miles (currently 174K), paid $5800.
Ummm... I took a big hit. I really want the Kia gone before it hits 190K-200K, at that point, it would be worthless (trade/resale).

BTW, I didn't buy the Camry, but I was told that if I didn't like it, I could sell it. Kept it for as long as I could stand it, 3 1/2 months and 830 miles total.
I had the coice between the Camry or a Polished Metal Metallic 2008 Accord LX-P with 84K miles, I knew the next morning I f*cked that up!

To add insult to injury, immediately after taking the Camry, like an hour later, I found a mint 2006 TL in Anthracite with the camel interior, TB/WP done. Everything else done. About 160K miles, I think. Private sale, $6800.

I think the Kia is past the point of no return on depreciation...so don't even sweat it.
Main thing with having so many cars is if there's one that would be a time bomb and you don't want all your resources to keeping a turd afloat...get it gone.
If the Audi had been my only/main car then I would have been okay with a clutch or engine replacement if the time came (thinking worse case scenario)...
since it wasn't, I would have been pissed about that.

As long as I'm not just stuck with the damn thing.
I get it about the Audi. Damn, that would suck to have to dump tons of money into a car you barely even drive.
Was it becoming apparent something was failing, or were you basing this upon common failures.
What year and milage was it anyway, I didn't even know.

2006 with 193K miles...
I had enough into it for it to make or break. It was driving smoothly and strong...a quart every 5 months or so (probably from the turbo housing)...
other than a coolant temp sensor that would stop registering occasionally...there were no indications it would have a problem.
