But but but, it's a used Audi!
It's the most unreliable car brand ever!

when they moved to Hecho en Mexico in the early 2000's...maybe...
but luckily you don't have those issues. Especially since the wall went up.
Good to hear, Mikey...good to hear. I didn't lead you ashtray.
Even with a substantially better Audi in my driveway now...I do miss ole round and
brown a bit at times...fucking beater that looked cool that I didn't care about that got
good gas mileage that was fun to row through the gears. I wouldn't hesitate to call Ice Cube
the top gun nor to get another one of those.

My friend and I w/ 2 impacts and a set of tools can get the engine out in about 2.5-3 hours.
Had I kept it factory w/ a light tune ... I guarantee it would still be running without issues
But, what's the fun in that?

You should all remove your rings so that your car gets mistaken for a Hyundai.

Even I'm ashamed of Yumcha for doing it.
And you just know it won't be right if he puts the emblem back.
He could have ceramic coated inside the rings FFS -Kurt

I mean, part of why you spend the extra money is how the car drives, the other part is you're paying for it not to be a Hyundai.
So to allow that confusion, voluntarily...for a questionable reason. GTFO, Yum!
Sam, I'm with you, man...I do a quick pull when I get to US27, then cruise somewhere between 75 and 110 the whole way to work.

I'm putting nothing back.
Bought mudflaps the other day and had them installed at the stealership. New "mod".
You mofos watch...I get an RS car next and I'll still yank off the emblem.

FWIW, modern Hyundais are actually quite good. Just got back from Iceland on Monday (pics incoming to photo subforum soon) and we had a rental Hyunda i30 (not N obvs) and it was a great little car. Well made, torquey, and with a manual transmission. We beat the piss out of it on gravel roads, mountain climbs, long stretches of shit pavement, and it never skipped a beat. If I were in the market for a good commuter car, it would definitely be at the top of my list to look at. Also, the Genny line and the Eqqqquuuussss, or however it's spelled, is awesome on both in quality and driving. It's not a sports car but as a luxury land yacht it's excellent. They are the bargain of the century right now on the used market.

Yeah, I can't figure out why I can't hit that 26mpg highway mileage consistently I guess they don't mean at 110mph.
Hyundai have come a long way...so has Kia...but in my mind...they are still pieces of shit. At this point, all new cars are, basically.
my aunt called me this weekend...on highway cruising...her sonata stopped accelerating. I guess it's the throttle position sensor...
now the dealership called her...it's the accelerator pedal wire harness. I said, unless a rat chewed it, that shouldn't "fail"...another day
later...oh, motor is toast...replacement new used motor going in, you'll have a loaner for a month. On the plus side, it's all covered...
because Hyundai but...

I don't dance around, sir. I had said it: The winters here are brutally long and brutally severe. The road debris, snow, salt, grime is nothing like owning a car in places like where you guys are...I go visit Hawaii or Texas and the cars are all clean. Washed like, what? 3 months ago? My car is instantly dirty in about 5-6 days tops here even in warm months because it's usually raining and if it rains, the dusty/sandy roads just cake the dirt right back on. Having rings in the back was not something I wanted to deal with after having lived with Acura and Infiniti logos and knowing what is involved to clean inside the emblems. So, yeah...no emblem.

yeah, but removing the rear badge doesn't:
A) Make the rest of the car less dirty
B) doesn't keep any other part of the car from being hard to clean!
Get your ceramic coating, spray that bitch off once a week during winter and call it a day.
Or move to Florida. The camping is great down here.
I get it though, you have experience with it, i don't.
Majofo is right though, the BWM circle is a solid piece, at least slap that on.
