It would have been nice to see a side shot or a front shot...but it IS a Veyron.

Wow, and around DC no less, there's so few exotics around the MD/DC/VA area considering the population and money. Was that taken on the 495 on the north side near the 270 exit?

Maybe they do it to piss pure-ists like me off. This is not a _dm thing.
Wonder is that really a Mercedes, which I personally don't follow is why? It appears to be a Altimaedes. People should really stop doing that. Honda/ Acura I understand, but other makes?
I guess to each his own...

Meh, working in Beverly Hills I would see two of these plus many other exotics everyday, granted they were parked at an exotic car dealer sitting in the showroom across the street from where I worked
. Once in awhile someone would test drive a Bugatti, it sounds amazing and I couldn't believe how wide that car is.
On a side note, I thought that dealership was crazy because they have this little covered parking lot where they park the exotics that cant fit into the showroom. At times there would be two Bugattis, Lambo or two, Rolls Royce Phantom, plus many others sitting in this parking lot. You could literally touch the cars if you wanted too, because the lot was built out of cinderblocks and rod iron fencing
. Just thought they would have a better, more secured area for these types of cars.

Went to the local hand wash place I clean my car and there was a shiny new 458 Italia there. That thing is f'ing badass The dude driving it couldn't be older than me, dressed all preppy, we exchanged some small talk, I told him that I thought next to the 599, the 458 is one of the nicer 'Rari's to come out of the factory. He agreed (I told him I never liked the 360/430 looks and he agreed), said he traded in his California for it. He also complimented my Clubman and said he likes the look of the Mini (
), spoke some other small talk, shook hands and he left. I wanted to take a pic so bad but EVERYONE was staring at the car and after chatting him up I didn't want to be the only herb there taking a pic of his car..

I personally dont mind having two cars, one comfortable daily and one uber-balls to the wall handling machine. A fews cars that Id take over ANY Vette (seriously, I just dont like them that much):
- NSX
- Elise/Exige
- Catterham
- Atom
Only one of those cars would be considered by most as a daily - the NSX, even though Id have no regrets driving an Elise or Catterham as a daily. And I think thats where I differ from you guys. Im not looking for a car thats a jack of all trades and a master of none.
Maybe in 20 or 30 years the Vette may do something for me, but for now I have absolutely no desire to own one.

And from every review I've read, the Z06 really has everything...
Comfort (very easy to drive around town)
Fuel economy (mid-20s on the freeway)
Practicality (only 2-seats but has a huge trunk for a sports car)
Tech (HUD, navi, Competition Mode stability control, launch control, dry sump, etc.)
Handling
Power
I would be hard, hard pressed to pick an NSX, even a Type-R over a C6Z, but again, that's just me. I love the NSX, absolutely love it, it's an icon and forever will be. But a C6Z is like an NSX on steroids and injected with growth hormones.
