I was all for the dark blue but it is now second in terms of blue. That cavalry blue is awesome. TRD wheels or bust for sure. You need to do those right away. Don't wait just order a set now. Here is some help. http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-Graphite-...dZHeCz&vxp=mtr
I think on the dark blue they look better in gunmetal but on the cavalry blue they look better in matte black.

I'm not a big fan of the Cavalry Blue, and the TRD Pros are impossible to get around here so it's not an option. I'm planning to buy the dark blue next week assuming it hasn't been sold already. My next issue is if I want the gunmetal or black, definitely leaning toward the gun metal, but probably won't buy those till the spring either way.

Not a fan of the trail edition wheels. TRDPro wheels look much much better. But since you mention TEs How about some bronze Volk TE37 PCDs. They would look amazing on the blue.

I think the colour is what makes the biggest difference What would bronze trail edition wheels look like on blue?

Trail edition wheels are also 17x7 where as those volks are 18x8.
Those Volks on that 4Runner really make me want one.

Spent the entire weekend ripping out my speakers, sub enclosure, amp, head unit, led bars, taillights, headlight retrofits, etc and getting her all back to stock, doesn't even look like the same truck anymore. Almost got heat stroke yesterday in the 100 degree heat index, and lost at least 5 lbs of sweat. I'm taking her this afternoon to trade her in on the Nautical Blue 2017 SR5 Premium. Going to miss the old gal, we've been through a lot in almost 6 years

Are you selling the led bar?
#458
Since you are getting a 17, as a model year left over, are they giving a significant discount ?

^ Wanting to do something like that, but have to worry about blocking the intercooler. May look into putting it in the main radiator grille, but with 5 horizontal bars, the gaps aren't that big.

Like the bronze but not those wheels. I think it makes the truck look dated with those wheels. Do the Volks or maybe powder coat a set of the TRD pro wheels. But since the girlfriend is now moved in and you guys have consolidated bills I vote for the Volks

I don't want those wheels, just using them as a color reference

Picked it up last night, got a fair price on my trade in and a fair price on the sale, they gave me a nice discount on the 17 that's why I was looking at them. They were selling pretty closed to what used 2014's were going for on their lot. I got them to come down a bit further before agreeing to the sale. Truck had 22 miles on it when I drove it off the lot, and 8 or 10 of those were from my test drive. Weird driving a brand new car, I haven't bought new since 2000, but have been driving my gf's new Subaru on and off for months. It was also bittersweet because I loved my old 4Runner so saying goodbye to her was tough, been through a lot of life changes with that thing, but it was time to move on. Here's a pic that I snapped at the dealer, I tried to recreate the pic from 2012 when I bought the 08 and traded in my 03.
And again, out with the old and in with the new again!
Loving the color so far, and the interior is like a freaking living room, so much headroom and so comfortable, way more spacious and comfortable than my last 2 4Runners. Already ordering mods for it

If I am buying those wheels I am going to get myself a 4runner to go with them.
I found a solution. Apparently the TRD Pro wheels look good in bronze too.
Buy the TRD Pro wheels and just have them powder coated for like $200 before you put them on. You can get a set of them on eBay for like $700-800.
