For all intents and purposes, the Subaru 2018 Levorg is a WRX wagon. It’s built on the same platform as the WRX, shares the same 300 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four engine, has the same all-wheel drive system and is available with the same Lineartronic continuously variable transmission. Yet unlike the WRX, the CVT is the only transmission option here.
That’s an issue, and the Levorg has a couple others, despite some impressive specs and great everyday practicality. See, there’s always been pretty much two kinds of Subaru buyer: the rally hoons, and the people who just want a good, pragmatic, all-weather car. Sometimes the Levorg goes a little too far in the latter direction for enthusiasts’ tastes.
I think it is targeting a different group like more family oriented buyers, instead of the traditional WRX group.. so Auto/CVT makes more sense.
It even removed the widebody and quad exhaust. So...
Since he did not want to wait, there weren't many choices for Turbo.
i want some 315 tires I always thought my car looked pretty aggressive from the back, low and wide.... until i park next to the Panamera... it looks like a bitch's car
i think the base wheels for Turbo is 20.... and it cost an arm and leg to upgrade to 21... but given the car's price, most of the turbos all have 21s on them.
For this particular car, i dont know what they were thinking to order 21" with all season tires....

Audi Might Bring the RS 4 and RS 6 Avant Stateside If We Plead Hard Enough
If you've been browsing The Drive even for a little while, you've likely come across a few articles announcing some new hot hatchback or wagon with a complaint from us saying that said car isn't coming to the United States. The Audi RS4 and RS6 Avant wagons are the worst offenders thanks to a combination of stunning looks, top-tier performance, and endless practicality. We want them, but we can't have them.
In an interview with MotorTrend however, vice president of Product Management for Audi of America Filip Brabec said that wagon fans shouldn't give up hope just yet. "“We always look at potential new opportunities in the market. It’s a niche to explore,” Brabec said. “We keep holding discussions. Keep writing us letters.”
This isn't a confirmation that we'll get the Avant twins mind you, it just means that Audi hears our cries and is at the very least interested in bringing the cars over. In an email to The Drive, senior manager of product and motorsports communications Mark Dahncke stressed that there are no official plans right now, but that Audi will continue to evaluate the market to see if it's worth it to bring these RS models to the States.
AUDIAccording to MotorTrend, the luxury car market isn't learning towards wagons right now, even in Europe. Younger buyers would rather have a Sportback-style car than a wagon, which Audi does offer in North America thanks to the just-debuted RS 5 Sportback.
"The Sportback offers more image than the Avant," explained Michael-Julius Renz, CEO of Audi Sport. "The Sport back is for young families looking for a sporty, fashion-oriented car with functionality that they can put the kids in. The Avant customer is a little bit older, more entrepreneurial."
All is not lost though. Like Filip Brabec said, as long as fans keep demonstrating interest towards these hot wagons, Audi will keep discussing the possibility of bringing them across the pond. If you absolutely need a German luxury performance wagon right now though, the new Nurburgring-taming Mercedes-AMG E63 S Estate has this corner of the market on lockdown.
^ Here's to hoping.
Though, when I was last in the local MB dealer, the sales guy was telling me that they weren't able to order any AMG (E-class) wagons for 2018

The 2019 Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo is a dream car in more ways than you might think. Of course it’s expensive; something many of us can only fantasize about buying. But it’s also the literal stuff of dreams. Something that shouldn’t exist in real life. Something that feels impossible.
This is, after all, a 550 horsepower, twin-turbo V8 wagon, from Porsche, based on a popular concept that everyone demanded to see production, and for sale here in North America. And, again, it’s from Porsche.
I don’t know how this thing is even real. But after a week indulging in its crushing acceleration and sheer weirdness, I’m glad it is, even if it’s not always the best at being an actual wagon.
Not bad, but the 6 Wagon blows it out of the water aesthetically.
Read earlier last week that the 6 wagon loses a bit of rear legroom, compared to the 6 sedan. Shorter wheelbase. Would possibly rule it out if it were available here.

We tried to bring this Audi RS6 Avant back to the states unsuccessfully as it made our hearts melt. With the highlight being our Vossen Forged VPS-309 wheels in Candy Red, you can see this beautiful Avant a mile away. This RS6 has also been tuned and features a custom wrap to further set itself apart from other wagons in Europe. We love the wagon scene in Europe and our European Distributor Eccentricall always has some serious heat for us to shoot and this was no different! As we finished wrapping up the shoot, we still can't wrap our heads around the fact we cannot buy these in the states. Audi, please bring them here and take our money!
