I will . Just shopping still
I used to love the e63 w212 wagon. But once the face lift happens the pre face lift wagons looks horrendously dated so I don't want that
I have considered a few 2014+ e63 wagon. Price is about 75-85k for lower mileage ones.
Ao so I am looking at about a 15k delta in real world prices

As I said, I am shopping still, and hoping to take advantage of X mas/New Years deals and close it up.
Cardinal red: there's only one brand German car that gets away with being red and that's Porsche. The Germans generally don't do reds very well at all, esp. Audi/BMW/MBZ IMO
I love a guards red 911 or a Milano red BMW. Since I can't get those beautiful red on the MB wagon, I will settle for cardinal red
I have a huge pano roof on my 530xi and given the choice of what I know now, I would never order a car with it, it was standard equipment however. The internal roof drains got plugged up and did $3000 in damage in parts alone to the electronics. This was a problem BMW got sued for and I got a notice for based on VIN registration. It turns out I had just spent that $3K and am awaiting word on whether I'm getting some/all of that back.

But yah...i cant remember the last time i saw a red Audi... So you are saying we BMW drivers do not like show off? we are humble like that?
No, I'm saying the reds produced by BMW, et. al are flat reds that don't belong on sedans or again, especially on wagons because a hot wagon is the ultimate sleeper car, why get arrest-me-red??
And yes, my notice of claim in the Federal Court action went on my office letterhead, so they know who's who in the pew.

E400 is slow. Cardinal red or black won't matter as no one, much less cops notice it. Only thing sleeper about a E400 is failure of contraceptive usage on the owners part during sleep time which necessitates the car purchase in the first place.
@oonowindoo - I see plenty of A3 red sedans daily, red base q5, red S4 sedans they are all over the place. C300/cla in blood red used to be rare but like estoril blue 3 series, red c/cla are all over
of course if you go to century city BMW, you can buy lime green 7series and purple and yellow 3series wagons all day long for $75,000

The outdoor purple was nice. The inside one was nice too.. Just that 72-75K for a 3 series wagon is a bit much for my liking, when I get a larger E class wagon for 10K less, albeit in grandpa colors.
Though if I get a BMW wagon, I would want it in the lime green or bright orange like this...

Anyone know when the $70K XF will be available for purchase? AWD and 380HP.
They are offering it in red outside and red inside. Firenze red exterior with Pimento interior. Will be gorgeous.

to me I just can't seem to get over the ugly rear of the E400
dealer says they will cut a better deal than previously offered
might have to just wait for jag. I can get red on red with standard pano roof
3 series is too small. Even with the cool colors and great discounts, I want something larger

To each his own
i love the e400
right power
right space
right price
rear looks like Down syndrome in person
if I did don't have any options I would pull trigger
two new options at same price has my eyes wandering

I am pretty sure the Jag should go on sale sometime this year and I would imagine that would be sometime in October or November. Doesn't really make sense to release a new car in December but I am sure it has happened.

For $5000 you can get it in any color you want.... the question is do you want to pay
will see what they say
surprised you haven't heard about them as you are big into bmws
here is an article about them a while back:

there GM is a riot. Orders all kinds of crazy stuff. I mean bright yellow 7 series and lime green ones along with 75k 3 series wagons
Oh Century West, I have heard horrible stories from their service department.
So that 3 series wagon not only has the normal options, it also has every M performance parts and the $5000 paint job....

as close as I could get
First time wagon thread poster, long time lurker...
With 2 growing kids and an aging 2006 Acura TL (6-speed) I have been looking to join the wagon ranks for some time. The BMWs, Audis, and Mercedes are out of my budget so I did the best I could. Monday I ordered a 2018 Buick TourX. Unfortunately Buick had to put the plastic cladding on it but its not as butched up as an Outback so I will still call it a wagon. Went with sport red and a black leather interior. No production or delivery date yet but the guess was 45+ days.
Looking forward to finally being a wagon owner!

Said congrats on your thread, WI_BADGER, but saying it again. My first wagon was a 1980 Subaru DL, 4wd, MT. Loved it. Have had wagons since, Subarus, Hondas, Toyotas etc. My TSx wagon is my first AT wagon , but I loved it nonetheless. I am currently shopping for a replacement.
Also glad you went with the gorgeous red, that looks beautiful. My TSX Wagon, is the first wagon I owned in a truly ugly color, and after living with this ugliness for years, won't make that mistake again on the color.

In a perfect world I can remove the plastic, get the front and rear clip from Europe along with the springs from the Opel sports tourer (rather than the country tourer) and turn it into a sports wagon rather than the country tourer. I have no idea how the cladding is attached. I assume they had to paint the body panels without the cladding and then attach it so I need to look into that first. I know a GM parts manager so he will be able to help me source the parts and figure out costs.
It is never good when the mods begin before the car is even built.

I had a shop do it in 2003, on my then new Mini Cooper S. It came with black arches, and side skirts. Shop smoothed it all out, added some plastic adhesive and made it beautiful body color.

though.
