Sadly no AMG or Avant or CTS-V here yet, but 3800 miles of blissfull travel in my wagon through 7 states, and 3 national parks. 80mph, 600miles + per tank, 32-34MPG

Can't reattach pics here

so here are some

So, the Silver Bullet (530xiT) has a leaky oil pan. The gasket costs $84; labor is 9.5 hours because the front drive shaft passes through the oil pan. Awesome-can't wait for this bill as the radiator has a small hole in it as well ($865). Should be around $3500 when it's all done. FML

One day ...

On a serious note, does anybody have any first hand experience with B5 S4s?

I've wanted one for as long as I can remember, but as the prices fall they're only that much more tempting. I have found a few very well maintained examples in my area ... going on Youtube and seeing videos like this does not help

The B5 S4s were not very reliable. Unless you luck into a one or two owner S4, most will have been beat to shit by now.

Yeah, me too. I'm getting more and more convinced my next vehicle will non-CUV/SUV...I priced out an E-Class 4matic (non-AMG) and the price is not bad. Also in consideration is the 3-Series wagon.

Of course, there's always Audi with the allroad. So...choices. But, I'm liking the E-Class Estate the most.

Winner, unless you can get the C63 Estate, which I think looks a bit better.

Yeah huh..

That should make the Avant super sexy for sure.

It's just that I don't even know what the market value of these wheels are.

Except Bangle was head of design at BMW from 1992-2009 so he was also responsible, directly or not, for the design of the E39 as well.

Fair enough...but, we do know about the E60 and well, the look was polarizing.
