The Official Wagon/Avant Discussion Thread
Which is a shame b/c the Allroad is pretty sweet. But anything B7 or newer should be good. Our B7 A4 was a tank. Trouble-free our entire ownership. Great car.And last night we saw the commercial for the refreshed A6... think my wife's eyes popped out of her head. Pretty slick. But it's not a wagon so I'll stop talking now
Dude, if you don't need to get a SUV, definitely go with the new Allroad. Just paint match the fenders and get a coilovers to lower it. They can be look like a super wide body car. haha And yeah, the engine has so much potential.
Speaking of road trips......this is my favorite picture of my V wagon. It's from my yearly epic road trip, last year, from Cleveland to Mount Rushmore, to Yellowstone, to Colorado, and back.
This picture was taken on the way from Yellowstone to Colorado. We stopped at the Wind River Reservoir for this picture.
I had my wagon out today for the first time in several weeks today and this picture is celebration of that momentous event.

I can't wait to start. I am getting on the road Monday. It starte at 3200 miles, now its up to 3700 miles.
Not as fun as your V, but since I am leaving the Elise home (weather up there), will make the best I can with the wagon
It really does suck. The TSX in general was a better car with a manual transmission. But I am a dinosaur, and still bemoan the lack of manuals in a world with extremely fast DCTs.....
You folks see this...? If the look does nothing for you, the performance just may...

Over 900 hp engine with 18 karat gold anodized turbo chargers on a DTM widebody Audi RS6 sets the new standard.
Team Betsafe’s Swedish freeskiing legend Jon Olsson is famous for owning some of the most extravagant cars in the world. This time around Jon has built a machine that takes a strong claim to the title of the world’s meanest station wagon: the Audi RS6 DTM.
“I have always loved the crazy widebody style of DTM cars and it’s been a dream to build a similar car for the road, but I also need a car that has enough space to carry all my ski gear to the slopes, so the decision was made to see what we could do with an Audi RS6.” – Jon Olsson
Special 4X4 carbon fiber was not spared when building the car body, designed together with former Koenigsegg Chief Engineer Leif Tufvesson. Stertman Motorsport built up the extreme performance with only the best components from STM, Intrax, Movit and Milltek Sport.
The engine is now equipped with custom 18 karat gold anodized TTE9XX turbo chargers from The Turbo Engineers and the car is expected to reach up to 950hp – possibly even break the 1000hp mark with some race gas!Jon will drive this car for Team Betsafe in the Gumball 3000 Rally 2015 starting from Stockholm on Saturday 23rd of May, 2015.

I actually saw a black Wagan, it could be A4 or A6, could not tell the difference without badge
It looked just as dramatic as the picture above. It had crazy DTM style wide body too. The only thing i could tell is it had Accuair sticker on the back window.
I passed him too fast to see anything else.
Maybe someone knows him on Audi forum. He was with his friend on 605 (red GTR). it looked just as epic ( or some might call it rice). they were so wide, they could barely fit within the lane.

My wife has a sticker that sez "Save the Stick."
