The Official Wagon/Avant Discussion Thread
for some reason I don't really like the 3-series/CTS wagon. But I like the E90 and CTS in other body styles
the A6 Avant and E-Class wagon are hot though! and lol @ the first page
and some chick (yes, a girl) near me drives a WRX wagon like this, dumped, with quite a bit of -camber, but on 19" white TE37s. these are 18s, but they're 18x10!

i wish mine was a wagon
Mine too. Makes me want to buy a 5 speed wagon and properly mod it. Every time I see one on an internet forum, it's usually just lowered with stock wheels and bad paint.
Civic wagons have a bit of a cult following. I can still appreciate one with some power and retains the AWD transmission.

^ my first car was a 94 accord wagon 5spd. (not by choice i might add)
i actually hated the car when my parents showed up with it.
i got to modding and eventually learned to love it and put in an h22 right before selling it.
now that i realize how rare they are to see modded, i wish i never sold it.

definitely different, but I think this is worth a look: http://speedhunters.com/archive/2009...610-wagon.aspx

I didn't wanna be the first to say it.... but
It's kind of a shame, in a way I'm not disappointed that they don't offer it here, and in a way I am because the wagon shape and side profile look good... it matches the Evo IX's lines.

How many of the AWD wagons or hatches are available in the US with a MT? Outside of the Subaru WRX/STi and high end Bimmers, not many by my count... Audi only makes MT available on its FWD A3. The Caddy wagon only comes in AT. IIRC, the last available R32 was only available in SMG. The Crosstour is AT only. Mazda doesn't make an AWD version of the MS3. The Lancer Sportback has paddles. The choices are SO limited!

LGT, and many of the other cars mentioned in this thread, like the Accord wagon I think.
but I believe they stopped making LGT wagons for MY2008. I'm sure the number in other countries or regions like Europe and Japan is much higher.... lets face it, Americans are lazy fucks and they don't want a manual transmission car, save for maybe 5-10% of the population and there's even fewer than that who actually want a MT wagon.

I was referring to what is currently available... I've always wanted an AWD 6MT wagon, but at the time I was shopping for a new car in '05, nothing really tickled my fancy. Now I'm considering another ride as I'll need more utility than what my TSX provides (twins on the way!), but I refuse to drive an SUV or auto. Wagons/hatches are perfect for what I need --- but give me a manny!
Sure, those of us who appreciate a stick and extra cargo room are a niche... that's why we're special

^that's not worse
it has character, at least. The only saving grace of the Evo wagon's rear is the diffuser and the "gills" next to the headlights, but even that it can't save it. the only one worse is probably the standard Lancer wagon.
IMO this is probably one of the few other wagons that is uglier, and this is an old Camry.... there aren't many other modern wagons that look worse from the back

The Camry wagon is pretty bad, but then again no one is buying it for it's performance.

We are just a dying breed it seems. The choices for SUV's (which I don't really mind) is even less when it comes to something with a little bit of luxury. Depressing really.
