VW testing the Golf Sportwagen/Variant R at the 'Ring in near-production trim. I seriously doubt VW brings this car here. If they did, I would buy it. As it stands, I'm heavily leaning toward a Golf R to replace the Focus ST.
Spotted what I'm pretty sure was one of these on my way home yesterday. Nice looking little wagon.
I had seriously considered a V60 for a while. In fact, I almost went to buy one and then reconsidered. I think they are great cars and I'd love to have one. But I still want AWD (even if FWD biased) and the V60 I was going to buy was a Drive-E FWD.

I don't think that car exists in America anymore by any brand. So, it would be very out of character for Acura to offer it
They claimed to replace it with the less versatile RDX... basically an oversized lifted hatchback...
I don't get acura sometimes... They could pop in the 3.5L in the ILX with an LSD or SHAWD w/ MT and have a great compact sporty sedan. No R&D needed, no new drivetrain, just utilizing economies of scale. BMW has figured out using the same engine x35 on the 1,3,4,5 series. instead of 300/300, they'd have 290/260 and much better long term reliability.
But then again it bugs me that ford has created this excellent NA V8 in the coyote and don't bring it across all their platforms... Why does the SHO have a bi Turbo V6? unnecessary overengineering... If they had an SHO Fusion with the Coyote and a taurus, and the explorer, they'd have better reliability and better specs and less warranty work on their hands.
