The Official Wagon/Avant Discussion Thread
Yeah! Great points...and now that you mention it, the Aston does look like it is missing a set of doors. More appropriate as a 4-door wagon instead of a SB.
I know Audi is calling this a shooting brake but that is marketing. This is no more a SB than a two door Golf.
To me, a SB is a two door wagon. Like the F-Type. Well more like a coupe based wagon. I guess I know one when I see one. That TT isn't it.

that was choice #2 when I bought mine. I had an AMG E350 sport wagon spotted in Denver, was going to fly out and drive it home. I agree, I'm surprised we don't see more on the road.
Always been a fan of the E wagon. A little less with the W210 (Aside from the E55, not a fan of the front end styling).
I wouldn't mind finding a nice W123 300TD
My first car was a W123 240D, so I'm a little partial to them

I finally saw an Audi Allroad on the road today. It doesn't sit as high as I thought it did. It looks like a normal (that is, good-looking), Audi wagon.
But I still want an RS4 Avant.
Dumb Americans and their wagon-hating.

"This vehicle is not for everyone. It is for someone looking for something very unique. Something beyond special. The previous and only owner, an 80 year old woman, traded this car in on a 2014 model. She has found what is special about these AMG wagons, and has had them since the first introduction of the 2006 E55 AMG Wagon. Mercedes Benz is the only brand brave enough to bring these Hammer Wagons to the USA, and we are sure glad that they did!"
Lmao... So they use that line for super wagons too???

Now this is a proper wagon, something that was build to haul...people.
FYI on a custom wagon (BMW 3-Series): https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...1#post14888051
Not a fan of the stickers but overall, I think it is pretty good.

If I had the money, I would pay $120k for a RS6 Avant without hesitation.
It'd be here in limited numbers and a RS7 starts at $105k. I'd be willing to pay a premium for the limited quantity of the RS6 Avant.
So, with that said, I don't think a E63 S Wagon is outrageous at $120k.

Love the new AMG E-wagen!
