THAT BASTARD STOLE MY IDEA!!!!
That dude is living my dream.
If you guys had $25k to spend on BUILDING a car, be it a kit car or customizing a car any way you'd like, what would it be? Ive already got mine figured out:

I just wish I had the money. I need to climb underneath an E39 and see how much room there is in the back. Id like to run the 'Vette rear transaxle for weight distribution but don't know how feasible that is.
........
An early 525 touring can be had for under $10k. They weigh around 3700lbs stock. The LS engine is surprisingly light, plus with other lightening here and there Im sure I can get it down to about 3400lbs. With 505hp (more since Ill be doing exhaust, intake and headers). Its something that Ive been thinking about for a few months now

I actually didnt like that idea when you mention it but i ran across the thread with 540i and ls2 swapped in with sc... but this was sedan... the engine bayis from that car... wagon 540i is just a regular car but i do agree this would be fucking great project... i still think its hasn't been done yet...
On the other hand i was wondering how quick your response is gonna be this time

As a TSX wagon owner of 2 years, if I had to pick one, I'd say the V6. The 5AT isn't that bad of a transmission (although the 6AT in the MDX would have been an even better option), I think where the wagon hurts is in the power department, especially when it weighs 3600 lbs. It handles really well in stock form, which is what drew me to it, and I can live with a FWD car with a decent AT, but it is a pig from a stop. Once you get up past 4500 rpms it moves just fine and it's a nice even power delivery, it just takes a long time to get up there.

There's a cream for that
Not even close. Plus, it just doesn't look right. I'm going to have to do a quick image search to see if we can find some good wagon pics. This page needs some saving from the March 2013 posts...
