If I recall correctly, the car has a tendency to rest on the A pillar / hood ... but agreed, if the car rolled / the impact hit the hoops just right .. oof.
Roll bars are not bad ideas in convertibles, ever.
EP3 brother?
I don't think I knew that...
God I miss that car...terrible gas mileage because underpowered for the sake of gas mileage efficiency. You can't engineer that sort of genius overnight.
ivtec.net so you don't have to.
Yeah man I rocked a 2004 EP3. Bought it brand spanking new. I'll see if I can dig up some photos.
F22 motors specifically can take a lot of power but .. have you seen videos of 600+whp S2000s doing pulls? Gears are too short, powerband is too steep .. looks almost undriveable unless you're just out there hunting people for highway runs.
This powerband though looks super fun. Well done!
Yeah, the power is definitely usable throughout - stock motor/trans/diff/axles even. Car has held up really well with the boost.
I'm hoping to keep similar powerband with the extra boost
I had to go deep in the archives and scan a photo. This was Black Pearl. I ended up having a Jackson Racing SC installed on it, which I thought was going to be amazing, but it never ran right after that so I traded it in for my 03 CL-S which brought me here to AZine many moons ago.
Which further proves my point that if your head is above those, you're in for a bad time.
Oh of course, your head should be inside the confines at all times no matter what car. Even if it's a sunroof.

No, not a bad idea but also not explicitly necessary.

Well thanks for looking for it...
Mine is buried in the photobucket hostage fuck you archives...
I had JUST put the HFP kit on it...I loved that car. Only car I've totaled
and to this day I miss it.
I drove a buddy's with a Cybernation stage 1 kit on it...and another one
of the ivtec guy's Mike that had a frankenstein 2.4 CRV bottom end and they
were BOTH quick cars.

It was a really fun car. The JRSC was such a letdown. I don't know if the SC itself was messed up or the shop that I had install it f'd it up, but I ruined a perfectly good car. I still haven't found a car with a more comfortable shifter location.
I still had my 2.4 I4 non-turbo diesel Mercedes (71hp/101tq when new in 1982, likely less with 300k on the clock) at the time, so the EP3 was a rocket by comparison.
If not, maybe try an ND2 2019+ Miata. They raised the rev limit closer to 8k (from 7200 to 7500 IIRC) & added adjustable steering wheel (telescoping, not tilt).
Dropping in to say it both tilts and telescopes.
No matter, though. I don't think he would fit comfortably. I am 5'10", 190# and am on the top end of being able to fit comfortably. Once adjusted, I am fine. (2019 RF)
I never drove the RF, but my 6'0" self fit great in the ST Club. But, I was more like 140lbs then.
Still want one, but an NB2 is more likely, budget-wise.
Edit: Also, looking at your sig, you bought the right color
Sunday took the lady out in the S...
what a treat...up A1A to Hillsboro in Palm Beach.
That exhaust was a hit, haven't gotten noticed and that
many thumbs up in a LONG time. Maybe it was for her
and not the car

duh?
I didn't get much attention in my S2k, only from other car dudes. I've gotten a LOT more attention and comments on the Jeep.
when I first met her she was like, why do you have that dumb honda?
then we did a weekend away in it and she started saying that I better
never sell it.
While I love Suzuka, less of a fan of the Smurf2000 = Suzuka w/ full blue interior.
About the only one I'd say is not great. Not a huge fan of the full red interiors either, much prefer the Red/Black.
