Looks like the rear hoops did most of the saving.

Which further proves my point that if your head is above those, you're in for a bad time.

If I recall correctly, the car has a tendency to rest on the A pillar / hood ... but agreed, if the car rolled / the impact hit the hoops just right .. oof.

Roll bars are not bad ideas in convertibles, ever.

God I miss that car...terrible gas mileage because underpowered for the sake of gas mileage efficiency. You can't engineer that sort of genius overnight.
ivtec.net so you don't have to.
Yeah man I rocked a 2004 EP3. Bought it brand spanking new. I'll see if I can dig up some photos.

This powerband though looks super fun. Well done!
Yeah, the power is definitely usable throughout - stock motor/trans/diff/axles even. Car has held up really well with the boost.

I'm hoping to keep similar powerband with the extra boost

I had to go deep in the archives and scan a photo. This was Black Pearl. I ended up having a Jackson Racing SC installed on it, which I thought was going to be amazing, but it never ran right after that so I traded it in for my 03 CL-S which brought me here to AZine many moons ago.

Oh of course, your head should be inside the confines at all times no matter what car. Even if it's a sunroof.

No, not a bad idea but also not explicitly necessary.

I will add that it's not explicitly necessary for the S2k. Definitely needed for a Miata as that doesn't have a structural windshield.

I drove a buddy's with a Cybernation stage 1 kit on it...and another one
of the ivtec guy's Mike that had a frankenstein 2.4 CRV bottom end and they

It was a really fun car. The JRSC was such a letdown. I don't know if the SC itself was messed up or the shop that I had install it f'd it up, but I ruined a perfectly good car. I still haven't found a car with a more comfortable shifter location.

The EP3 was odd-seeming, but natural behind the wheel.

I still had my 2.4 I4 non-turbo diesel Mercedes (71hp/101tq when new in 1982, likely less with 300k on the clock) at the time, so the EP3 was a rocket by comparison.

Maybe, but it weighed about 63 tons, so it had a 0-60 measured with a calendar.

Dropping in to say it both tilts and telescopes.

No matter, though. I don't think he would fit comfortably. I am 5'10", 190# and am on the top end of being able to fit comfortably. Once adjusted, I am fine. (2019 RF)

I never drove the RF, but my 6'0" self fit great in the ST Club. But, I was more like 140lbs then.
Still want one, but an NB2 is more likely, budget-wise.

Edit: Also, looking at your sig, you bought the right color

Sunday took the lady out in the S...
what a treat...up A1A to Hillsboro in Palm Beach.
That exhaust was a hit, haven't gotten noticed and that
many thumbs up in a LONG time. Maybe it was for her
and not the car

duh?

I didn't get much attention in my S2k, only from other car dudes. I've gotten a LOT more attention and comments on the Jeep.

While I love Suzuka, less of a fan of the Smurf2000 = Suzuka w/ full blue interior.
About the only one I'd say is not great. Not a huge fan of the full red interiors either, much prefer the Red/Black.

Suzuka with the blue interior was pretty bad.

I'm also not a fan of NFR, I don't think it matches the character of the car to be bright fucking red.

Whatever the yellow was before Rio came out is meh as well.
