I used to pride myself on making my own decisions and how I would never let a woman tell me what to do.
Now...I run everything by her...

Self preservation!

Dude, your reasoning for keeping the TL AND getting an S2000 are exactly like mine! Lot of good information in this thread...I'd also suggest you start scouring S2KI...and if you find a clean Laguna for under 20K, I'd also suggest you jump on it whenever you see it. You'll rarely find those...have a 2nd and 3rd color you'd be willing to be happy with!

.

I've been on S2KI for about two weeks just browsing and trying to learn as much as possible. Some of the cars on there are fuggin fantastic.
I'm just so happy that she let me buy my car.
I mean she bought me a set of coilovers and let me do some track days. I'm happy enough. lol

You picked a winner, brother!
Tyler...no doubt, man...for what it's worth, both the sebring, and the rio are approximately 130K and I don't think you'd be able to tell by looking, driving, or licking it.

Quick impromptu of my baby this afternoon!
Painting the lower seam in black really helps clean up the look of the lower line of the car.

I probably would now that I love FI so much.
But the thought of a two-seat convertible is exotic.
I need more spare cash.
Nice pic! Good 'ol FPL.

I have family that's in town all the way from Indiana and my brother-in-law's cousin came along.
After speaking with him, he's into cars (V8s, some imports, quartermile racing, etc) but he never rode in an S2000 before.
After taking a few corners, braking hard, and ripping gears 1-4, I've never seen a grown man giggle so much

I have been enjoying driving the car super chill lately...I'm laying off until I get the new bushing for the diff...going in this weekend. I love the raw sound of the UK mod...but am wondering if I should go back to quiet stock exhaust...hmmm...probably not, I know I'll miss the vroom vroom.
Yeah. Don't put the stock exhaust back.
I can honestly say that the catback eahuast made my driving experience much more enjoyable.
Every car deserves a non-annoying slightly louder exhaust system.

LOL...righteo...I agree.
I guess was thinking about how annoyed my wife gets with loud noise...but then again, she's almost never with me and hasn't complained since I don't have the Q300 anymore.

Make up your mind, man! Last week you were talking about buying a 3G TL, lol.
I had Buddyclub Spec III, Single outlet on my 05 before.
Probably the best sounding exhaust that actually offer some performance in HP and weight saving.
The whole catback only weights like less than 10 lbs. (I remember i could lift up the whole thing with 2 fingers)Probably the lightest next to the $gazillion titanium ones. and the piping is as straight as it gets.
The weight saving was so significant that my lowered rear was back to almost stock height after the exhaust was installed.
The downside... you will die when the top is up.
I can't think of a a better exhaust to use on the track for $500.

dude, even adjusting the buddy club rebounding was a bish with my fat azz fingers...
I believe he means re-torquing all the bolts that have twistable bushings, oow...you're supposed to load the suspension, THEN torque those. There are a handful per corner.
Dave...let us know how it goes, man...

What's the problem with loading it on the ground ... ?
Assuming you've pre-loaded shocks & springs properly, tightening the bolts on the top of the struts should be done while the car is on the ground.

That part doesn't matter...I don't think.
It's the lower twisting bushings of the control arms.
That's fine, Sam...that's exactly what we're talking about. Sounds like Dave tightened up and went on his way...never loaded it while it was on stands during install.
