I love the Mugen rear lip but I was never too tempted by the side skirts. If I didn't have plans to get a 4DR 6MT Accord (

Wow dude thats super clean!
Bit off topic (hope nobody minds) but I noticed your avatar and was wondering what lense you are using to take those pics??
(I'm a very amateur photographer - just got a learners DSLR a few months back)
Would love to be able to take half decent pics and have been told good glass helps.

I used a Canon 16-35 f/2.8L for all but the last picture. The last I took with a Canon 24-70 f/2.8L. I wouldn't focus on glass too much. It might have sharper optics but even today's kit lenses are pretty impressive. The only slight advantage my glass has is the ability to shoot in lower light then a kit lens.
Thanks. The rims do look very similar but they are the Acura RDX accessory rims.

Car is looking good as usual Todd.
Tell me you think 312$ shipped/painted for a brand new OEM HFP front lip is a good price?

When I was checking them out it was nearly $300 for one unpainted shipped, so that's a really good price if it's authentic OEM Honda. Where did you find that price? I might have to consider getting one if they're that cheap.

It's a member off of another site that I was referred to...but I didn't end up buying it from him. He was being extremely slow with his answers while managing to come off as a tool. I know that you are lowered; are you running a camber kit?

140k miles and still going strong. So far I've added wheels and the OEM wing.

I'm still in search of proper rubber.

Like the Si wheels Mark! Didn't know you bought them. I'm guessing you didn't have to use any spacers on them since you're a 4 cylinder, right?
And I agree, once you get some proper sized tires and a nice drop, they'll look ever better!

Thanks Todd! I tried to install the wheels at first without spacers and the front wheels were touching the brake calipers...so I bought spacers for the front tires. In terms of tires, what do ya suggest? I'm looking at 225/50/17s Nexen ST-08 if I recall correctly...hopefully those will look decent on the car. I'm hoping to drop it within a month or so too.

As far as tires go, my personal opinion, don't get Nexens. I know, they're so reasonably priced, but in the long run they'll end up costing you more when you have to replace them prematurely. I just experienced that with my Nexen N5000s. They had about 15,000 miles on them and the side wall cracked when one of them lost air from a nail. Not only that but the traction sucked from day one and they were nearly impossible for my tire shop to get to balance correctly, so the ride would be bumpy at times with vibrations and side to side swaying at certains speeds. The road noise got worse and worse as they wore as well.
I ended up putting Falken Ziex 512s on and couldn't be happier so far. I haven't experienced any of the issues the Nexens had with the Falkens. I also upped the size on mine to a wider track and higher sidewall, similar to what you're considering going with 225s. I went from a 235/40/18 to 245/40/18, which was a combination of them not having the 235s in stock and I wanted as much traction as possible on the 8" wheels I have, so 245 it was.
The stock 17" Accord tire size is 215/50/17. 17" tires, even with lower profiles, don't tend to run too harsh, at least not like 18" or 19" low profile tires, so the ride isn't bad on that size, but the 225s will give you a slightly higher sidewall and you'll get a wider track for better traction. The only thing is when you change the diameter of the tire you also change the ratio of the odometer and speedometer, so your mileage and mph readings will be a tad off, but nothing out of reason. My 245s are slightly bigger in diameter than the 235s so it throws it off a little, but I don't notice it at all.
Here's a great link to a tire size calculator in case you were interested in seeing the difference in sizes and how the effect your odometer and speedometer.
