Thanks guys, I was actually considering trading in my 2012 S4 for a 2013/14 S6, but I think I will hold off for a little while. I called around the dealers in my area and nobody has a S6 to even test drive, they can't keep them in stock. That tells me that they will want top dollar for the ones they do get and they know they will get it. The S6 price tag is already high enough, I don't want to pay above market, so I will wait it out. Until then, I will just do a few mods here and there, should keep me entertained long enough.

The S6 is ridiculous. I love them. I would even be happy with a 3.0T with the 20" sport package.

I am one sick puppy. I'm so hell bent on owning an Avant one day that I go onto the UK and German Audi sites and build them

First up is the S6 Avant. Starts at $84,235, ended at $142,803 with options

Then I did a RS4 Avant. Starts at $82,026, ended at $109,656 with options.

And then finally a RS6 Avant. Starts at $165,540, ended at $175,834

I do this a lot. And if I were rolling in millions of dollars, you're damn right I would buy them and import them here. I'm obsessed

@CLtotheTL32 if I am going to spend that kinda cash on a car, I better be living back in Germany and have the Autobahn in my fricken backyard. I love the looks of the Avant, I would love to own one as well, but those are some pretty steep prices

The A6 with the sport package is nice looking, I wouldn't say no, but I really want the S6, just not right now.

Amen to that. I never realized how expensive they are but holy moly I'm in love

The RS4 Avant is in Forza Horizon and that's the closest I'll get to driving or owning one

It's fun to dream though right? RS4 or RS6 for the family cruiser/DD and a R8 V10 for the weekends

Suzuka seems too light, I was thinking closer to Nimbus Grey but still researching.

I believe I have seen an S5 in that color. Special factory order with a $2500 charge.

It looks like Grigio Telesto offered on Lamborghinis

BUT if that's a legit RS4 Avant, it might be Daytona Grey, which is an optional pearl color.

Audi won't do that. They wouldn't put the big lazy V8TT (But mighty powerful) in the RS4/5. The RS4/5 are supposed to be more raw/Powerful with a beautiful exhaust note. The high-revving 4.2L NA V8 gives the RS4/5 that raw power and exhaust note that it needs being an RS. The 4.0T doesn't rev very high but has monster torque that the S6/7/8 need being big cars.

That can't be an RS5. All RS5 are B8.5 with the new style headlights. The one in the pic has the B8 style headlights. I'm guessing it's an A5.

The Daytona Grey car is ActivS5's car over on Audizine. IMO the best looking B8.5 S5 out there. The E-code headlights make his car. The stance of his car is absolutely amazing. His old S5 was badass too. The Ipanema brown car is NYSpeedracer's which has probably the most tastefully done mods of any of the A5's on the forums. Not a giant fan of the color but his HRE's are hot.

I love the idea of Ipanema Brown. I would have to see it in person but it would certainly add an air of exclusivity to a car.

I can understand that ... Something like IP Brown would probably be as much because no one else will have it as much as because he liked the color I guess

Yea that makes perfect sense. But he has some great things done to his car and it looks nice, just not my color. My dad has an RS5 currently on order in Suzuka Grey with lunar silver interior, Alu-Optics, fully spec'd minus ceramic brakes. I am trying to get him to change his order or place a new one with the same specs just french racing blue instead. Which is a jaguar color. But i think it looks so nice on the RS5. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1
