Any of you know when the 2013 S4 will be available? I like the minor updates to the interior, but I have mixed feelings about the exterior...

Based on the 2010, 2011, and 2012 models, I'm guessing around August or September of this year.

I think that's when they said the RS5 was hitting as 2013s so I'm going to guess there's no special spring release for a B8.5.

So I have been roaming around Madison and Milwaukee Wisconsin the last few days and I noticed I don't see a lot of Audi's here. I might be taking notice, due to the fact that the Seattle area is saturated with them and other German cars, so you see them all the time, but I did find it to be somewhat odd. Maybe they are just all in storage for the winter, no idea, just an observation.

Just bought a 2012 A6 Premium Plus last week. Was cross shopping the A6 with the 2012 528i, almost bought the 528i, but they had stopped accepting orders for the 12 model and wanted $3-$5k more for a 13. I was debating about the extra cost and wandered into the next door Audi dealer and saw the new A6 and fell in love.

Had it tinted the other 20% all around. Debadged everything everywhere, just left the rings, interior LEDS and invested in some detailing supplies. Wish I got the LED headlights, dislike the stock HID, they are very poor compared to my TL's xenon or my BMW's xenon, no contest.

Loving it so far, only put around 300 miles so far but its a great car. Handling is okay, not like my old 08 BMW E60, but not bad. Wanting to upgrade to S6 sways when they are available, lower it, get some 20" wheels. It has the 18" right now. Getting the car VAG coded next week when I am done with finals.

The Audi MMI is a great system, enjoying the google maps feature and Audi Connect. I love Audi MMI compared to my old BMW's iDrive. My biggest gripe is the poor HIDS and no fogs.....really no fogs? Oh well.

How many Audi's do you guys see everyday? I am just wondering because I barely see any, I mean I see the A4/Q5 EVERYWHERE but nothing else.

Good news is that APR's 3.0T tune will do just nicely

And welcome to Audcurazine ... My guess is you're going to want to just start ordering DTM parts now (like fogs, flat steering wheel, etc)

I like that A6, and those are all the parts you can upgrade yourself probably. it's gonna be expensive but it's doable

You chose an Audi that didn't have that included in the options, but overall it looks like a very nice ride.

Here in Seattle I see a lot of different Audi's, they are extrememly popular in the Northwest.

Aside from the A4, I see A5/S5s and Q7s on a daily basis with the occasional A6 here and there. My hunch is that the popularity of the 5-series is the limiting factor on the number of A6s I see out there.

Actually Audi has removed fogs from nearly all the cars.....my A6 is nearly fully loaded I just don't have the innovation package which was another $5k.... included LED headlights/HUD and other small (to me) stuff that did not interest me. Same with the A7 no fogs at any trim level. And same with the new A8.

Ran into some problems with the leather, unfortunately the leather on the bolster is cracking on both front seats!!!!!! Took it to the audi dealer who says this is a common problem on the NEW A6/A7 as Audi has started to use some cheap material in the bolster....wait until you hear the fix....keep replacing the seat covers until Audi releases a better solution (LOL).

Got the car coded for some cool stuff, DRL on 100% all the time with any light setting, gauge sweep, VIM coming up next.

Here is how the car looks today, done some minor cosmetic mods. Going to black out the reflectors this weekend, about to hit 1k very soon.

I wish companies would realize their decisions are often ridiculously detrimental.

How much extra does that bolster cost to put good material? $100? Would I gladly pay $100 more when I already paid $50k?

Just stupid. But I still love that car

Finally got my upgraded ignition coils today. Can't wait to install them. They're supposed to help smooth out the acceleration and improve fuel economy, but who's kidding, it'll also add a minimal amount of power, but the smoother acceleration is a win. They're pricey, but I bought them during a group buy. Figured may as well get them for a little cheaper when I can. Those of you wondering why there are 5, it's because I bought an extra one at the discount just in case one ever blew after I was out of warranty.

http://www.okadaprojects.com/usa/products_direct.htm

Article about them on Euro Tuner:

http://www.eurotuner.com/techarticle...r/viewall.html

So now I have the following that I need to install:

RS4 RSB
Apikol Snub Mount
Okada Coilpacks

I can't believe I've had the RS4 RSB for years now and haven't installed it. For the longest time I didn't have the ramps I needed to install it, so this past December or January, don't recall exactly when, I bought a set of race ramps, but just haven't gotten around to installing it. One of these days I won't be too busy and will be able to spend the time working on my car. Between work and the little one, and all my other hobbies, means I need to be better about time management. Live and learn...

Also this morning I swapped out my DRL's with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. They are definitely whiter than OEM and look to be brighter. I highly recommend them if you don't wish to go the LED route. I also added the Ziza LED license plate assemblies last week. They are so damn bright, but I love them. They look much better than the factory, dull lamps.

I got to see the 2013 S4 in person last week. It looks a lot better in person than in those released pictures. The updates to the interior are great. My only complaint there is that they could have looking to increase the screen size on the navigation a bit. It comes off as small for some reason.

In my 4 years of ownership I haven't had any issues with coilpacks. ***knocks on yumcha***.

The B6 was known for high-failure rate with coilpacks, it's not as common on the B7 or the B8 as far as I've seen. Now the injectors on the B8, that's a different story, i've heard those have been known to fail.

I don't like the new 2013 A4, it looks a lot less aggressive now compared to the pre facelift model. Those fog lights are ugly!

It actually looks more aggressive than I expected in person. I didn't expect that...

Just saw these posted in one of the Audi forums. This is the new Estoril Blue Crystal color they are offering, it's an extra $1k versus $500-600 for the metallic.
