Neat CR Z Video

Just got a link from a friend for this commercial. It kind of makes me want one.

^ Great commercial but the truth is it's slow, but then again the numbers on the '88 CRX Si I owned were slow too but the car felt incredibly quick.

Cool video for sure but I agree with above statement that it isn't really fast.

I'm guessing that neither of you have actually driven one. It's true that it's not the fastest car out their but it's pretty quick and has a rigid platform that makes an old CRX feel like your riding an eel.

If you want to stop light race mustangs, the CR-Z isn't for you. If you want something that's quick enough to be fun and handles very well due to it's rigid chassis, you should check it out.

A 68 MGB isn't fast either, but it's a hell of a lot of fun to drive.

I find that as I get older (and gas prices go higher), I'm starting to care less about speed

It doesn't help living in Vancouver, where it's about $1.30/liter (for 87)

It's a FUN car. Miatas aren't fast but they're FUN. CR-Z's have a lot going for them. Tossable, zippy and excellent fuel economy.

Call me when they put a K20 in the CR-Z.

Great ad, though.

Its design has been growing on me..and isn't this car as fast as golf TDI? There's a head to head comparo.

Yup, they are literally within ~2 tenths of a second of each other in 0-60 and the 1/4.

The Golf wins hands down in the interior and exterior department... Subjective, of course. I think the CR-Z is cheaper with similar options

No I haven't driven one, but did you even read what I wrote?

I did which is why I compared the CRZ and CRX. The CRZ has a more rigid feel to it. It's a car that will lose a stat sheet race every time but when you get behind the wheel of one it's a lot of fun to drive.

How about this one!

Honda should just sell it like this at dealers, maybe not with the exhaust since that will turn away certain types of crowds and the spoiler
