What size tires are you gonna run? Apparently the Phantom Black isnt available for the S20's only the semi gloss black in the pic, thats what im gonna get.
Im pondering about my tire size, in the front im gonna run 245/35 and the rear 275/30. I wanted to run 285/30 but that mite be to tall. What do u think?

275/30 is closer to the stock diameter of 255/35; but 280/30 is only 7/10ths of an inch more, so not a huge difference. On the front it's actually closer to stock diameter to go with 255/35, but I might go with 245/35 too. I knew titanium asphalt wasn't available, but didn't know PB wasn't. Bummer.
What sizes are you getting anyway, 8.5 front and 10 rear?

Wheels were cut late last week, so probably 3 weeks or so.

Nope, they are definitely still available. Another tire to look at is the Yoko Advan sport, it's getting really good reviews and has a very similar tread design to the PS2. I was considering that over the P2S just for cost savings (40% better price).

Backtracking this thread a little, I drove the 335i 6AT today @ Prestige BMW in NJ. Very sweet car with tons of power. I felt a little low end lag but when the power kicks in, it does so with authority. Comparatively (and SOTP) speaking, its acceleration seemed about on par with the Mazdaspeed6 that I test drove last year (which was obviously a 6MT vs this 335's 6AT). Ergonomically, it differed little from the E90 330i I drove last year which is not necessarily a bad thing.
As I sold my 02 Maxima last week
, I am semi-actively seeking a replacement. The 335i would be a sweet replacement but I was not too thrilled with the lease deal I was quoted ($5,699 due @ inception/$399-mo/10k-yr/24 months).

You can probably talk them down a little on that lease; it's all about the bottom line really, not so much the payments. I am sure you've leased enough cars to be a vet though.
RE: the speed6; I test drove one a few times, it's a good car but the engine is a lot less linear; I know what you mean about that initial "feel" of acceleration. The 335i is a little deceiving in terms of its actual speed, I guess that's a quality of the inline 6, seems all 3's are sort of like that to an extent.
What options would get if you got a 335?

Exactly!! Though the initial kick is slight, the speedo needle was 'racing' past 100mph in no time.
![Too Cool](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/toocool.gif)
I would have no problem with a "bare bones" 335i but the wife likes the Premium pkg in our demo. (As any car I get would seldom be used in long journeys, I would not have much need for Navi....though I will pick up a Tom Tom Go at some point anyway.)
As far as the lease deal goes, there were a couple of features that I did like: a) the inception fees can be rolled into the payments making the upfront $2,995 (raising the pmt to $499 - 10k/yr) and b) in the event we may go over on mileage during the lease period, we can buy more miles for $.16/mile. .....and a neat selling point is that maintenance is free (exc. tires and wheels) for 4 years.

Also, make sure the vehicle is being discounted (shop around). Next be sure you're getting the base rate and that the dealer isn' marking it up. It can save you BIG $ by doing both.

All you need is
MSRP
Selling price (cap cost)
Residual, which is adjusted for term and miles
Interest rate
Term length
So for example....335 Sedan
MSRP- $45k
Selling price - $44k
Tax rate (paid up front or rolled in, choice depends on State)
Residual (let's say 36 months, 12k miles) - 61% + 2% for 12k = 63%
Interest rate is .00150 or 3.6% base (rate x 2400)
Payment is $543/month, taxes/tags up front. The payment may vary a bit due to various potential dealer fees.
The dealer can't screw you on the residual, but they can on the interest rate by marking it up.
Hope that helps.

That's a major bonus on the e92; changing the fogs and angel eyes is super easy; just replace one H8 35W bulb.

Haha guys you have to help stop me. Every time I see a picture of a 335i with the OEM front aero lip I literally open outlook and start typing to my dealer to order it for me. I know I should wait more more lips/bumpers to come out, but damn...

FWIW, I actually chose NAV, iDrive just comes with it. That said, I don't mind iDrive.

I've used some other manufacturers iDrive clone type software, in and comparison iDrive *is* slower (than most), but the actual interface is pretty straight forward, and the controller is actually really nice (imo, of course). Aside from the NAV (which you can replace with a Garmin or something), it's nice to have total control over things like door locks, interior and exterior lighting, climate controls, seating controls, all right in the iDrive settings menu.

I've had my 335i for a couple of weeks. Have about 900 miles on it, so I haven't pushed it yet, but the handling and perfornance are really amazing...the acceleration is comparable to my M5, but it's a much more close-coupled handling feel. When you corner in an M5, YOU KNOW you've got 4,000 pounds of car around you. The 335 feels -- and is -- hundreds of pounds lighter. Part of that might be that I have the active steering. I have all the available options -- nav w/iDrive, active steering, active cruise, Sport package, cold-weather package, etc. The only thing I didn't get was an automatic transmission.
Here's the car... (Those are after-market wheels and tires. The Sport Package rolling stock is SUMMER only, and I live in New England, so needed reasonably-priced snow shoes.)

Test drove one of these at work today, and HOLY SHIT! The thing does not want to loose traction. Interior is beautiful and its very comfortable. Its ridiculously fast, I had no words when I pulled it back into the lot. I cant wait to graduate college and get ones of these.. You are a lucky man for having this thing.

I'm so weak. I ordered the front aero lip. I also didn't wait for my wheels to order a matte black grille. I changed by angel eyes and fogs too.

Still debating the rear from that kit above, I will probably go for it knowing my lack of willpower.
