Those seats! I think they were modded. The factory option was Saffron yellow inserts in a black seat, and the seats in that car was the opposite.

Weird though b/c that's the second one I've seen with that combo (that wagon and one sedan). Funny enough both were the same exterior color...

Also, I read on the CTS-V forum that those wheels may also be available in Black Chrome. That may look even better then the Gloss Black on my silver. One of the sedan guys is thinking of making the switch so I'll have to keep an eye on his topic

I think the black chrome would look great on your silver.

Wish I was in the market for one. I jumped the gun with my GS and now I'm seeing some good prices.

^ Not a bad deal. No sunroof and no Recaros though... so I don't think CCC would be interested in that one.

Wheels look good! I love the stock wheels, definitely don't feel the urge to change them anytime soon.

I do like the stock wheels as well. I may actually just plasti-dip them for now and see how it goes. I'm just not sure a full black is the best look on silver. Thinking maybe an anthracite or something...

If you dip them, make sure you do several layers then hit it with several layers of glossifier as long as the base layers is thick and flat. There are also new tints out there and some new metal / gloss combos.

^ Yeah, I had the old wheels on my FJ plasti-dipped. Think I did 3 coats and it was pretty good. Didn't hit it with clear but by the time it started peeling I had new wheels, so I didn't care and I just peeled it

I have seen a bunch of the new colors on dipmycar.com. Pretty interesting...

^ Yeah, leaning that way.

I will be putting the side and rear splitters on this weekend. Once that's done I'm hoping i can convince the misses to let me grab the front splitter to go with the rest

^ LOL. The more I'm looking the more I'm not sure about those wheels. Yes they are hot, but not sure about the gloss black and definitely not sure about the fitment of the 20's on the wagon. Will likely hold off a bit...

Looks like the guy is getting it powdercoated... which is another $1k. Only black from the manufacturer right now.

Haha. It worked on me. Look at how quickly I sold my Porsche and got a Vagon. Pretty much all neuronbob and majofo's fault

Oh, and YouTube.... if I never went to YouTube and looked at CTS-V Exhaust vids I'm not sure I would have gotten one so quickly. So yeah, if you think this is bad, avoid YouTube

Thanks for the advice, although I suspect you really mentioned YouTube to spark my curiosity even further, but I will resist and not look.

Installed the sills this weekend. Not the best pics (just snapped a few quick in the driveway) but they look great in person. Front splitter will really tie it all in

Looks great. I was thinking about buying a set of those. The only issue is that I have a blue Kevlar front splitter and the sides would not completely match.

Yeah, I thought about the colored ones but decided to just do black since I'm going to do a black APR front splitter.

I paid $275 for the set of 4 but he has a deal right now for $250. He's discounting them through the end of this week. Not sure if I mentioned it but be advised that mine are carbon wrapped whereas Bob's are carbon... so likely a large difference in price

Actually, mine are not carbon, they are really all woven Kevlar, which does take dye unlike carbon fiber, so yeah, they were costly, but blue....

Looks good!

Do the rear seats fold down? Could you lay down all the way in the truck space/rear seat space...?

No. I would go that route were I buying today, however. Here's what I did a little over five years ago now for my first V:

Full Spare tire kit for anyone interested in seeing. I made it work. - Page 8

I paid $589 for the Eurotek kit, made because a single V owner went to his M5 tuner to make it happen. I don't think it's still available, and again, it cost $750 outside of the group buy I was part of, so you wouldn't want it.
