So, KONI is finally releasing its products specifically for 2nd gen MS3.. I'm looking to lower my car just 1 inch, so I'm guess I have to go with Sports. Now, which aftermarket springs go with KONI?
Any experience on them here?

the only hatch I like... really love the car man.. after I found out how affordable these cars are I was already locked into my altima lease. I am really regretting it, esp after seeing your ride :-/ ... looks good!
btw I might be a little late on the custom plate thing but how about
"SAY CHZ"
and do you lease or own? if lease how much are you paying?

You get the plate yet?
I am looking to get an 08 pretty soon, I can't wait!
PS: I really really liked that PS, makes the car look more focused and serious .. takes away from its sense of humor.

I think they usually give out some decent discount for new products as well so..
so tony... when are you getting your cute lens?
i think you should get 17-55mm IS. ask this in C&P random thread!

Yesterday, I finally installed my CP-E 75duro Rear Motor Mount and the aluminum bushing that I bought more than 3 months ago. I was being so lazy and didn't want to get under my car, but I did and regret not doing this earlier.
It's amazing how these little mods and change the entire driving experience. The car feels so much more solid than before. Before getting these done, under heavy acceleration on full boost (15psi is the maximum without tune), I occasionally missed 3rd gear because of the shitty stock rubber shifter bushing and rubbery stock rear motor mount. Now that I have short shifter plate, aluminum bushings, heavy weighted shift knob, and rock solid rear motor mount.... shifting feels so much smoother and slicker..
I just placed an order of Progress RSB. Will be getting that delivered this Friday or so, should be installing that this Saturday.
Zoom Zoom Boom.

Oh yeah, I had problem with one of the bolts that hold the rear motor mount to the transmission block, I think I crossthreaded it because its was going in kinda crooked but i was being lazy and forced it in. Its just goes in 3/4 of the bolt and not go in. I'm going to take it to a shop close to my work and get it fixed.
Lesson learned..

oooh that's not my car. i just stole those pictures from other member from mazdaspeed forum. my car is black color. so i won't have to paint the diffuser, and my isn't lowered yet, so i think the clearance shouldn't be much of a problem, hopefully.
the full lip kit is 750 shipped from nextmod, does it sound overpriced or reasonble?

^ yeah right? the pricing isn't bad at all.
and yes i agree on dropping the car before doing the lip kit. im just waiting for koni to official release its products for my car.. they said it would take couple weeks.. come on! i want to lower it a little!
what do you think about that rim + tire combo? that rim is what i exactly want. rpf1 18x7.5 +48 with 235 meaty tires.. cheap, light, fast.. from stock to that, i can shave off almost 9 pounds each corner... lol

I don't know too much about tires but the rpf1 looks great! You probably can't get any lighter wheels for that price.
My friend just put on 18x10.5 rpf1 with 275 tires on his STI and loves it for both street and track.
Black/Black or Black/Silver both will look good IMO. Just put some fancy/shiny lugnuts on to set it off
and yeah.. watch out for them thieves hyung haha

Thanks man.
What are some of the PP that I should do to this type of shot? I know everyone has their secret way of processing them, but maybe some general guidance? I mostly play with just brightness & contrast...
And I don't know why but everytime I shoot my car.. the car seems pretty underexposed somewhat.. but the background is not..
So, if I bump up the brightness or exposure of the shot, the background gets too bright..
Any recommendation?

oh yeah joshhhh you had black 2G TL right??
that pic wasn't shot in the shaded area though.. the sun was hitting directly..
Maybe I should have used flash and bounce off the lighting on the left white building? Would that have helped? or would that just create some massive white wall reflection on the side of my car?

I think I'm getting old because I think the car sits perfect as-is
JS, nice choice going with the black - it hides the Cheshire Cat smile on the front bumper. I actually like the grille, but with black it's more subtle and flows better with the car.
I'm the "car guy" of the family and have already put 2 friends/family in 2010 3s. I LOVE the Mazdaspeed3. I thought they dropped the ball on the seats, door trim, and TINY nav screen, but other than that, you can't go wrong.
I'm looking to take better pics of my new 6 so I can represent the Mazda posse here in Azine

Eyelid.. yay or nay?
If I get it, I'll just paint it in black to match the body. I dont want it to be flash in any sort of way. Just want to blend it in. What do you guys think?

^ actually, YES! :p
AZiners have great taste in mods, so it's better to be approved by you guys.
Not alot of MS3 guys over at MSF are into cosmetic mods, so it's pretty rare to find a member that does put some new cosmetic mods on his car. And I'm a type of person who doesn't like the idea of being a "tester" for some of the new mods. haha
