Identify this (Acura?) and help catch a killer
Shoofin that was my immediate thought, however I could see the TL resemblence (grille is too wide for a TSX imo)

Look closely lower right picture. In particular the passenger headlight, you can clearly see that it is not a projector type and has a bulge in it similar to the Chrysler car above. The 2nd Gen TL has a similar type where lense comes and forms the corner of the car giving a similar appearance at night

That is actually a good fit, and that would explain the bulge that you see in the passenger headlamp. The lighting is why I think it's NOT a 3rd gen TL

If you look at the grille it is squared off exactly as the one in the Sebring picture, the only qualm I have with this theory is that the Sebring Coupe has reflectors in the upper part of the bumper. For sure it's not a UA5, I have an 03, my sister an 01 and it bears little to no similarities for me.
had to steal this night time pix and it is almost just as crappy being taken below the TL's HID cutoff point and as youc can see there is no massive glare from the headlamps
As you can see, nowhere near the bulge in the headlamp, nor the massive glare. that picture on the ATM was taken above the TL's cutoff point for the HID lights.....

driven enough 3gen TL to know that their headlamps are NOT that

Someone with a 3G correct me if Im wrong, but doesnt the 3G have foglights in the main headlight housing? That would be the inner most light, the one that could be causing the "glare" you speak of.
One more nail in the coffin for the Sebring thought is this - the car in the picture is a hardtop. This is the Sebring of the same vintage:

The a-pillar doesnt match, the door opening doesnt match, and the roof gutter doesnt match. Still think its a Sebring?

It is not even close to resembling a Sebring. You have to look at all aspects of the car. The inner glare on the headlamps is from the fogs on an 04-05 TL.
Pic of my car with the fogs on

How can you still think it is a Sebring, are you ignoring all the other obvious signs. Look at the A pillar, look at the mirror (paintmatched not black) look the top right corner of the windshield how it lines up to the A pillar, look at the seats, look at the black strip that runs off the windshield side of the A pillar onto the roof. Look at the grill, clearly a 3G grill. Not a single part of the car in question resembles the Sebring.

^ i was gonna say..
probably has his fogs on that explains the light.
and iirc.. there was a limited number of those 04-06 chrome grills out there in the world.. maybe he has one. like so

X1000 for it not being a Sebring.... Not a match on the pillar or roof garnish, the doors on the OP pics appear to have window frames, and there is an upper grille trim piece that appears to be chrome(Sebring has no trim on the top of the grille opening). Also, how many Sebring 4 doors were there in this body style or year? None that I know of... The Sebring 4 door was mid to late 2000's! I don't believe you could even consider the Dodge Stratus either.... too many similarities to the Sebring that are not matches.
