Here's what I got rid of the Ack for....

First day:

As she sits right now:

I do miss the TL, always loved that car. But this was always a dream of mine, finally fulfilled. Great car.

Still needs a lot of work, suspension rebuild/upgrade, 17" Style 5 (deep dish BBS Mesh) wheels, tint, some fresh paint (it's not bas as it sits now, just minor rust on the bottom of some of the doors), but I love the car. Inline 6 is smooth as silk.

Nice, mine had 320000kms on it, and neede another motor rebuild, I didn't have the time or patience to do it again.

As the sig says, it's a '95 525i 5 spd. Black on light grey leather. Car has ACS (traction control), bunch of other goodies and is in pretty good shape. Been scavenging scrap yards lately and having some luck with random add-ons, fixes, etc. That's actually one of the most fun things about this car, is bringing it back from where it was. Long process and trying to not go crazy $$ wise as I am going to pick up an '01-02 540i as a daily and turn this into a little toy, so gotta save some $$$ until next fall. Have a new house in April and a wedding in July so gonna be an expensive year!!

I've always had a soft spot for the old 5-series. Congrats!

Haha, getting married in July next year! Might as well be already, GF and I have lived together for almost 3 years now. She wasn't too upset, I picked this up for $2000, and considering how rought my TL was running, this was a much more reliable car. She knows it will become the toy after next year and she's fine with that considering how cheap it was. We'll see what she says when I start trying to find an S50 M3 engine to drop in it tho!

I know... one of the many things on the list still. Just needs new clips. Going to be shadowlining all of it so going to get new clips for all the trim when I do that and that will resolve that problem.

Looks good, other than the interior. That leather is pretty discolored.

Very nice!!

My friend has the exact same car except with the black interior. All I can say is watch out for the cooling systems on the E34; they can be a NIGHTMARE! If you notice mysterious coolant loss, chances are it's leaking it in a way that it doesn't drip onto the ground and the rad will need to be replaced. I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer, just warning you.

Will be re-dyed in the spring. Should come out like new, to match the rest of the interior which is pretty much 9.5/10.

Yeah, well aware. The E34 online community is actually VERY strong. Tonnes of info online and in forums. Going to get a coolant flush/fill shortly along with some other items. Had enough issues with HG on my TL that I am already very aware of the cooling system on whatever car I drive, but thanks for the heads up!

Very nice pick-up. Can't beat it for $2K, plus no crazy "electronic gremlins" that infected the later models.
