Help Gatr find not a Traverse
yeah heard this is good strategy....secure financing at low rate from local credit union/local bank..bring rate to dealer...see if dealer/oem financing arm can beat it...if they can so be it, then pay off early anyway! heh
unless you get 0% apr
but feds been raising prime rates for a while now...i see mortgage and car rates going up steadily....maybe era of the super low rates are over...

Same C.U. for the Mercedes, rates have gone up to 2.99%.
Any term available for both, 24-75 mos. Credit score 740+ the only requirement.

I remember reading that. Scary AF. What happens when the water heater craps out? Or the transmission in their car shits the bed? Or....??
Credit cards, I guess? Way to rack up more debt!
I sometimes envy homies with the toys they buy and the money they spend. Always wondering how they can afford some of the stuff they do. And then I realize they’re probably living pay check to pay check. I then go to sleep not worrying about what would happen if I lost my job tomorrow

While I wouldn't really lump the house in there, we all probably have that same thing going, the $45k in student loan and $15k in credit card is ridiculous. I'm not even sure what constitutes the other $100k.
that’s crazy. Here, you can pay out a car loan whenever you want with zero penalties whatsoever. I think it’s by law like that, here. I guess once in a blue moon we do get lucky up here.
I know inside I would be a little disappointed with the Highlander. It's fatter, weighs 245 pounds more than the MDX, gets worse gas mileage, and has a shorter range. I really want the MDX. I may just go look at the MDX tomorrow.
It varies by state. You can pay off a car loan whenever you want without penalty here too.
You can pay off a car loan whenever, unless the loan you sign stipulates penalties doing so (some being all the interest).
Where state laws come in is the protection of your rights to pay off early without penalty.
I don't believe any state says you can't pay off a debt.

Some lenders may make it difficult for you to pay off the principle by stating principle payment only (not early / advanced loan payment).
It's asinine, but check with the lender. Last thing you want to do is have your 30k check be advanced and the bank says you still owe 3k... in 2020.
All that being said, read the fine print before signing.
