Hello!
First of all...
Wow. Strange, but it feels great to be back. It has been a long time since I have been on this forum. 2 years doesn't seem that long, but it sure does feel a lot longer than that. I must've logged in for a minute, and then forgot about it. I met some pretty awesome people here on this forum, many of those while I owned a 2006 Acura TSX. The TSX was totaled after being hit by an 18 wheeler (thankfully I was not hurt...that bad), and since then I've had a 2010 Infiniti G37xS, which I recently sold before moving up the NorthEast to Jersey. It had some pretty light mods, Nismo 370Z Rays, BC Coilovers, Cusco Front Strut Bar, CF rear diffuser, CF rear trunk spoiler, CF Interior (Steering wheel/Interior Trim pieces), OEM front lip, and modified headlights. I loved this car, daily drove it, pushed it hard, and hit over 100k miles. Not a lot by any means, but thinking about the future, I had to buy something more practical.
I thought back and forth about replacing my car with a Infiniti QX50, QX60, or QX70, but after a while, I felt like it was too similar to the G37, but was content on replacing it with a QX70 with the sport package. But, a few months ago, I went to my bachelor party out in Vegas where my friends took me to Exotics Racing Las Vegas, where I was able to drive a Lamborghini Huracan Performante, and a Ferrari 488 GTB. Both amazing cars, but what shocked me the most, was their pace car they used to help us become familiar with the race track. It was a base version Porsche Cayenne, and they were throwing us around corners at absurd speeds. But it was so well planted and composed that I couldn't keep my mind off of it when I returned back home.
I then focused my attention on the Cayenne, and started to build a list of features. The "must haves", the "nice to haves"...helping me understand the dealbreakers vs non dealbreakers. I then did my homework around the years, and different models, and knew that I wanted the 2012-2014 models which had the NA V8 motor. 2015+ Cayennes switched over to a V6 turbo, which I had less interest in. I was set on finding a 2012-2014 Cayenne GTS, which came standard with the PSE, among other features like the air suspension. Recently, I found one in Chicago, so the wife and I took a quick weekend trip to take a look at the car, we were happy with it, and drove her home. Anyway, I'm done rambling, below are some photos of my cars over the years. I'll take more photos throughout the weekend, and keep this thread updated with photos as I make updates to it.

Congrats on making it back here bud and congrats in the new ride. I know it has been a long to find the right one. Wish I could have made the trip out to pick it up with you. Love that you found a white one and the Storm trooper look on it will be awesome. Can't wait to see what else you have in store for it.

Thanks Bob - great to see all the OGs are still here.
Hello! It certainly has been a long time hasn't it!
Having the V8 was a must have for me. While the turbocharged engines seemed nice, it just didn't sound the same as the proper V8 engine. Aesthetically, I also prefer the 2012 - 2014's. Not sure how I feel about the newer tails, but it's a preference I suppose. Honestly, I worry that my neighbors getting pissed off at me when the truck has a cold start up. The PSE is very loud in the mornings. And yes, I agree that she's very clean, but I have a few things I'm doing to preserve the clean. I just put in weathertech floor liners yesterday. Had them in the G, had to get them for the Cayenne.
Thank you sir!
The good thing with me, is that the car will most likely stay in the garage during the week, and be driven primarily on the weekends. I'm usually on the road (flying in and out) Monday - Thursday, so I won't be adding too many miles to the truck. It's only at 50k miles right now, hoping I don't put too much on it, as I want to keep it for the next 7-10 years.

Ha - yeah but your homes aren't connected! (or are they, haven't seen your neighborhood yet). Technically our homes are classified as condos, which makes me even more nervous.

With yours being connected I can see why you would be worried. I am not 100% familiar with how that exhaust works but can't it start in like a quiet mode?

Very nice! I like that body style. And the white wheels look fine to me. Congrats on the pick up! You were talking about the exhaust in "quiet" mode is also loud. Have you checked to see if you may have scored an aftermarket exhaust, or is the stock just that loud?
