After closely examining a bunch of images online (placement of reverse-lights, pattern of bright-work along side of the car, rear badging, etc, etc), I'm fairly confident that it's a 1949 or 1950 Pontiac Chieftain 2-door convertible w/out the optional rear side skirts. With no badging by the front wheel-well, I'm guessing it's got the "L-head" (or "flat-head," "side-valve," etc.) inline-6 (not the "SilverStreak" inline-8) under the bonnet.
Virtually all survivors are the SilverStreak 8.
Here are some images of 1949-50 SilverStreak 8s with the optional side skirts in back:
Met a guy years ago that had an immaculate Star Chief. I'm guessing tri-5 years, since it was a convertible.
I didn't pay it much attention at the time, since he had a fully restored 1957 Mercedes Gullwing parked right next to it [and his helicopter & 6 seater pressurized twin]

What a great picture!! Only thing missing is a Motocompo!!!
Never seen one in the metal, but I have a couple of Hot Wheels examples of the (kei?) car on the right--a (1985?) Honda City Turbo II. That's the only reason I know of these.
Presumably the one on the left is the base (narrower, naturally aspirated, and less racy) model? (Love those front-wing mirrors!)
I'd probably consider the City (and perhaps the 3rd gen Honda Civic "wagovan") as the spiritual predecessor(s) to the much-loved (but sadly discontinued, at least in the USDM) Honda Fit.
I've seen a few of these, and a couple Honda Beats on CL here in Houston recently.
Shame we never got any of the quirky Hondas here, other than things like the Del Sol & OG Insight

Speaking of the Del Sol . . .
Spoiler
A guy who works at a local shop in my neighborhood owns a red one:

Correct..... First Gen Honda City. The one on the right is the Turbo II model.
