I almost bought a 93 Aero. Like this. 6 speed too. Test drove it, and was really liking it. But family requirements meant a Volvo V70 instead.

I found a higher definition of the image you posted on Facebook, so based on the curvature of the windshield and the vent by the back I’m guessing 99 or early 900. They both seem to look very similar and have that sharp edge over the wheel arches.

 

Yup. Nice job!

It’s a 99 with the more symmetrical front and back ends, not the longer sloping rear of the later 99s and 900.

Saw the Jensen on Top Gear this week, so it was fresh on my mind

 

 

haha, great episode (as are many). I was laughing pretty hard at the fake punches and all the goofing around in that episode.

the interceptor looks a lot better than the GT, but knowing myself, at one point I would forget to check clearance before shutting the tailgate and destroy that wrap around rear glass.

Very mixed feelings on that. Definitely looks like a prototype and could be Japanese. Also looks like it could be a Ferrari kit car as well.

 

It is Japanese, and yes it was a prototype but not from a car manufacturer.

 

One more hint. The manufacturer is a very large global company. They just don't make cars.
