All seasons usually last a lot longer than summer tires and cheaper too.
So if performance was not my priority, i would buy all season too.
Would i pick Run flat summer tires or regular all season tires if i must? um.... they all suck.... hard decision.

I was just poking fun at the juxtaposition of California not having "seasons" as compared to other parts of the world and the hilarity of the phrase "all season" in the same context of the state of CA.
I'll shut my mouth and go buy a Porsche now...
by the way we have seasons, Not Hot, Normal Hot, Very Hot and fucking hot.
Wow. That's just inspiring.
Your perseverance to owning such a slow car is a testament to your tolerance. You are a grand example to us all. I really don't know how you do it.
Do you leave at least 5 hours early to get anywhere?

6, if it's raining.
If you like golf, there are a ton of top-level courses and the Waste Management Phoenix Open is always the same weekend as the Super Bowl and is quite the party atmosphere.
It's one of the only cities with teams from all four major professional sports leagues (NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB), so it's a kid of mecca for sports. Not to mention Spring Training if you are into baseball, especially. Phoenix will also host the College Football National Championship this year as well.
There's a pretty good arts district and night life area (clubs, restaurants, etc.) in Scottsdale that attracts both celebs and wannabes alike.
Not gonna lie, not a lot of great history and historical sites here. Other than extinct tribal communities, no one lived here until air conditioning became widespread (e.g 50's and 60's).
For gearheads, we have the Bondurant School of Performance Driving here, NASCAR comes to Phoenix twice a year, and there are a couple of private tracks for certain events. The Barrett Jackson auction in the January/February time frame is incredible.
Those are a few things off the top of my head.

Havent really started looking yet, her lease on the jetta isnt up for another year. As you know i like to car shop early.

Will look at the A4 avant as well, I assumed they were harder to find than VW wags
She wants an SUV though, meh.

Is she okay with a CUV too? If yes, you have Audi's A3/A4 or BMW's X1/X3...? I like the Merc GLA but I suspect that's too small...

I'm practically a saint now with all the character I've built.

Not nearly as much as ttribe and srika for sacrificing their happiness for such slow cars. But, hey...my penance is snow. Theirs is slow cars.

and riding a bicycle would beat you from 0-60.
