Hope that thing scratched all over, so that owner will have to replace them with something nice.

LOL. If that's real, I hope she got on the show.

If she was smart, I hope she staged that so she could get on the show. Seems to me getting your car booted, then driving out of it while leaving the audition for "Bad Girls Club" is a sure way to be cast

quick questions:
I have driven plenty of turbo cars but never owned one for a long period of time until 335. I started to notice all the little differences between test driving and DD for 2 years in terms of driving feel and performance.

Is it normal for a Turbo car to have inconsistent acceleration? What i mean is sometimes I like to downshift to 3rd at 60mph when there is no cars around me just for the fun and I'd smile all the way to 110. But sometimes, the acceleration feels so different that made me even think the Turbo is not even spinning. (sluggish)

I have no such issues with my 335.

A car can throw codes that don't light the MIL. Try having the ECU scanned.

Also, have you checked your engine air filter lately?

seriously doubt there is anything wrong with the car. It does not feel anything is wrong.. but just feels the car has its own personality sometimes.

also check the entire turbo system -- hoses can come loose and/or develop leaks via cracks, holes, etc causing this kind of phenomena...

Some people have experienced this in their ST. A charge pipe would pop off and it would feel as though the car is no longer turbocharged.

I'd definitely check that.

But if you're saying one minute the acceleration feels fine and the next minute it is sluggish, it may be something else.

Could be a leak, but his power loss would be all the time, not just sometimes. With the parallel turbos running right under the exhaust manifold, and that tiny intercooler.. My guess would be heat soak. Pretty common.

His is the N55 with a single, twin-scroll, turbo. Not sure if that changes anything.

BTW, I live in a noticeably hotter place than him and haven't had any symptoms like his on my N54.

If I owned either, I'd get a big ass FMIC, cold air intake, oil cooler, aftermarket charge pipe and diverter, run some injector cleaner and get a vented hood.

Wait wait. When we're talking about a car that's so easily duplicated...let's be clear: the Ford Accord or the Honda Mustang?

As much as i like EB Accord, i just can't see myself getting a Domestic car just yet. Just personal preference.

If Q60S is what i think it would be, my next car will be either that or F30 340.

Well, you should at least test-drive the Ford Accord to get an impression when it is time to shop. It may surprise you.

And tough decisions when buying a car is a good thing.
