The hole is in the roof lining, not the headrests.

They put in a drop down as opposed to putting in the head rests.

Looks like they'll be replacing the roof lining.

Holy shit! Sorry man, sounds like your dealership's service dept is not the best. I guess as long as it looks ok and works ok when they're done with it, right?

As far as FM vs hard-wired sound, maybe when you asked they thought you were just talking about the iPod kit? In any case, I'll be curious to see if you can make either headrest play through the radio or if it can only be the left one.

Good luck!

Yes, they are going to replace the roof lining completely....And actually, for the headrests, they are not cutting a hole in them either, we are getting 2 new headrests (they even give us our old ones back). Dealer was very apologetic, its getting fixed tonight.

Mistakes happen. Its how they choose to deal with those mistakes that matter. Looks like their living up to the reputation Lexus dealers seem to have.

Hopefully the FM system works better for you then the Drive + Play I had for my IPOD
I could never get rid of the static no matter what channel I used, so I gave up and sold it

We get static on our DVD system, sometimes a little & sometimes a lot. But yeah, eventually our daughter will be able to wear the headphones, so it's not as big of a deal as it would be with an iPod system.

I got a new 08 G...I figured I rather have new for the same price as an 06 M, plus there are more technical features (ex. Ipod) in the 08 then the 06...Plus the 4 year warranty...

First dent today Just a crease in the bumper - I gentle tapped it while pulling into the garage (missed it by that much). Nothing worth fixing

Try polishing and waxing the creased area- that will make the crease less noticeable, although it's not that bad.
