32k for type-s?

i'll take that over the deal whiskers had for the G35, which i'd take over the the price he was given for the TL (non type-s)

Just out of curiosity, why?

They G35 still has 20 more Horsepower and 10 ft./lbs. more Torque than the TL type S with slightly more cargo room, identical MPG and a slightly better factory warranty.

I'd still go with the G35...AWD or not.

And if you do decide to go with the TL type S, I know I wouldn't want to be skating around in the snow on the TL-S's performance tires, so I would assume winter snow tires would be a must with the TL-S as well. But don't quote me on that...

true, but just for personal reasons.

i like the looks of the type-S (inside and out) more than the G35.

Understandable.

I def. prefer the G35 int. to that of the TL-S.
And while I do like the ext. of the TL-S, it's going to be "dated" before the end of the year only because a newer (but not necessarily better...) model is out there.

It's definitely a close race in my book...

Cool. Start at the Infiniti dealership and save yourself the hassle of test driving a lot of the others.

Why do you keep saying this when you are cross shopping a G35 and an '08 TL? Guess what, they're not that much bigger.

I understand that you are Jewish and want to get a great deal, but for the love of God man, make a decision already! It pains me to see you flounder like this, this thread doesn't suit you. Time for whiskers to get back to what he does best:

Damn, my pure geniusness went down .00000011%

The TL should be bigger then the 04 TSX, I hope.....

The torture should stop next week.

It is. Sisterloob has a TSX and we trade cars sometimes. There is a significant difference in both the interior room and overall feel of the car. Performance wise it's night and day. TSX = 4 cyl, TL = V6.

Just go get the damn TL and be done with it all.

I can spend 35K, but if I can get a decent car (TL) for 31K, why wouldn't I. Plus there are tags and tax.....

Only problem I have with a TL is that its a 5 year old design. Don't get me wrong, its a nice car but I just have a problem with buying something when its all new replacement is just around the corner.

Any chance of waiting a month or 2 for the 09? At least test drive it.

No, I need a car...But I understand what you are saying...That bothers me too....But its probably one of the reasons of the -5K price tag...

Just make sure that when you get one for $32K you don't turn around in 6 months and regret not spending the extra cash for something else.

Yes, it's a five year old design, but a design that was ahead of it's time when it came out and is still modern by today's standards.

Yes, maybe, but basically you are OK with the designers coming up with a radical, ahead of it's times design years ago and have not improved on it yet? Not sure if I'm OK with that. I think if you set the bar high with the current model, you should still be moving forward. It almost seems like they designed this model TL and then took a 3 year vacation.

Wasn't referring to the styling. I agree the 04-08 TL looks great. But the new car will likely be better in every other conceivable way.

And maybe whiskers likes the styling?

By reading some of the comments in the 4GL section on the new design, I would say that there are quite a few people who seriously believe they did!

I liked the styling in 04.... At that time I could have had the TSX with Nav or the TL with no Nav.....I pretty much regretted my choice...I realized I wanted more space and didn't really use the nav that much....

Are you sure you dont want a subaru legacy?

if i could do it again, i probably wouldve gotten that.. instad of the TL .. cuz NONE has one.. and plus the engine mods are limitless.. plus aftermarket is a bit stronger than that of the TL..

I don't think Whiskers even knows how to swap out a catback, let alone even care enough to want to.

But I loved the LGTs for that reason.... aftermarket is pretty good.

Dude, get the new TL. It's a god damn boat and has an excellent interior. If you dont care about the harlequin face the front of the car has and the bad acid-trip inspired rear, its the perfect car!
