Plus, as I've stated in other threads, my '01 A4 was a maintenance nightmare. Take that for what it's worth - I don't want to make any sweeping statements about Audi reliability so I won't get mobbed again by the e-gestapo. I just would never recommend an Audi to anyone after my experience.

I'm sure they will extend it past August to get rid of the A4's when the new gen arrives.

2009 Toyota Venza
Toyota just unveiled the Venza "crossover sedan," which is really another name for, you know, "crossover." With the Nissan Murano and Ford Edge obviously in its sights, the 5-passenger Venza neatly and stylishly fills the void left when the Highlander grew a third row and got bigger. Powered by either a 268-horsepower V6 or a 2.7L four-banger, the North America-designed and built Venza will be sold as a single trim level vehicle. The primary differences are that the six gets dual exhausts and 20-inch wheels, while the 2.7L has a single outlet and 19-inchers. Both engines are connected to a six-speed automatic with sequential shift, and the V6 has a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, which exactly matches that of the Ford Edge and the current Nissan Murano. The front end clearly communicates Toyota's current styling themes while being Edgelike in its bright, large grille, and headlights that arc out towards the fenders. Inside, the Venza has an upscale, airy cockpit with niceties like contrast-piped leather seats. Storage is typical for vehicles in this class, and like its main competitors, it offers a panoramic glass roof. Pricing is to be announced, but if past performance is any indication, we expect to see a lot of Venzas filled with families on the road before long.

Goes on sale late 2008.
Also, Honda plans to release a similar Accord based crossover sometime next year called the Latitude. So if you can wait your CUV choices will be plentiful.

Usually end of the month is the best time to buy.... dealers need to meet/exceed their numbers
Try what Jesal and a few others recommend.... get the e-mails of several dealerships in your area, lets say, internet sales managers at Infiniti dealerships. Then come up with a bunch of features you'd like, i.e HIDs, navigations, etc. and send out a generic e-mail to all of them saying "Whoever can get me the lowest price for all these options will get a visit from me shortly" or something like that.
Saves you the trouble of talking to salesmen whose main purpose is to sell the car and milk you for more money.

Suzuka Master
CPO TL-S or G35 is the way to go according to your options. If you like ES350 give it a test drive a very comfortable ride but thought it was too floaty for my taste. GS300 has no power and has been updated to GS350. IS-too small. M sedans are very nice, my parents have one and it's a really classy ride. Fun to drive and yet so comfortable.
Good luck.
Good luck.
