Damn, this is a good one too. I remember seeing the Viper whoop ass in car mag comparisons for the most part, and I loved its shape. I even got a little butthurt whenever it lost a comparo
That blue/white stripes is classic, and generally I'm not a fan of stripes. Also love the red intake manifold and valve covers.

If you mean in a realistic sense it was a 16V Scirocco.
If not is was probably a Martini Porsche or a slant nose 930 DP.

1st car I lusted after: the 71-73 Mustang Mach 1.
Thereafter, I lusted after every car I test drove, and a large number of impractical pony, muscle and Italian sports cars, followed by various British, American, Japanese and Swedish sports cars and coupes.

2006 Honda Civic SI coupe when they first came out. I got my licence in December 06 and I wanted one. Didn't get one because of insurance rates crazy high for a new car with a new licence.

Always had a soft spot for BMW's when I was growing up, and then this came along:
Still think the E34 is the best looking bimmer out there, and have been a big fan of the 5-series ever since. The fact that the 5-series is one of the few (probably the only one left) luxury sedans still available with a stick makes it all the more desirable.

Right here -
I spent hours and days as a kid dreaming about a fender-flared 240Z, add a whale tail to that mix too. Never bought one, but all my friends did (sans flares). I did eventually roll in a tuned 280ZX in college.

Same here, Bob! I remember seeing an '88 CRX in a mall parking lot when I was 10 or 11 y/o, being intrigued with the half window in the back, and telling my mother I want that car when I'm older. I ended up buying an '88 Si in college. It was an amazingly fun and reliable car.

Growing up, my dream car was the NSX...
But, the one I really wanted was either first gen. Mazda RX-7 and/or the Datsun 240...

1978 Pontiac Trans Am _ Nothing brings out the white trash in me better than a Pontiac. I would still love to have one but the wife has set our priority list at New Kitchen and not Old Bandit.

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
I have to agree with the Testarossa...... Growing up and seeing Miami Vice, well, a lot of influence.
But I have to say that the car that I first wanted, and had real "feelings for" was this:
Thanks to popuppistons.com
I saw it in a garage, with a tarp over her: 440, 3 on the tree, blue vinyl interior, and painted in that lovely Hemi Orange. It was a sight.
