Does anyone see anything wrong with swapping cars every year?
I don't know why, but it seems like about every year, I get bored with whatever I'm driving, and then get something else. Is this bad? First car was an 85 Camaro, sold that and bought a 99 CL 3.0, sold that and used it and some saved money for an 04 TL, now I'm thinking of selling the TL and buying an 07 G35.
I feel bad.
But,
I don't know. Lol.

not at all. Clearly you're doing well enough financially (based on your quick upgrades) to warrant it. So why not? Enjoy your money while you can as long as you dont get over your head in debt.

It's all up to you. I get too attached to my cars to sell them that quickly.

Find a car that's cheap to mod and/or huge aftermarket. My first few cars didn't have many mods you can do including the TL so I got bored of them fast and like you, switched cars every year or two.
Just my 2 cents.

You are asking a forum of car nuts this question?
Your stated age is 19. Enjoy driving a variety of cars, it will enhance your ability to drive and is enjoyable. Agree with others, as long as your finances allow it, you and your family if you have one are not starving, and you are able to pay for school if you are in school, then DO EEEET.

Make it happen. Just do not bury yourself in debt by rolling over negative equity.
Cars are an expensive hobby and slippery slope.

It would be bad if you're going in debt or selling for significantly less than you paid and spending more on another car. If not, and you have the means, then I don't see it as bad, just a personal choice. If you are spending a significant amount or rotating cars, however, hopefully it's not preventing you from putting money in more practical, investment-worthy things to help you in the future.
On the other hand, I probably spend way too much time finding the right car, learning how to drive and maintain it, getting a feel for how it responds in different situations (especially bad weather) and keep it for a long time. That's just my choice. I believe there are a lot of upsides to this, but on the other hand it causes a feeling of attachment. For instance, if I saw one of my old cars being poorly treated and/or absurdly riced, I'd feel like I betrayed it.

Whats up with RDX owners?

As others have said, dont put yourself into debt because youre bored. I know someone that went from an RSX to a MS3 to an Evo to a 335, all in the span of 5 years or so. They kept rolling one loan into another. Its not smart to do it that way.
But if you have the means to do it and stay in the black, go for it.

A friend of mine has had 12 cars in 7 years
As long as you can afford it, I don't see why not.

My father has had countless amounts of cars , but he can afford it, so why not . He only had a 2001 CL-S for 4 months back in 2004, traded it for god knows what . Car still made a big enough impact on me to go and get one .

I've never paid a car payment yet, so if I get the G35 that would be the first dealer-bought car I've had. I assume I can get one for 15K-17K, and sell my TL for 10-12K, payments should be easy, no? Even with not very much credit.

Honestly, I get the itch for a new ride not long after my new purchase. Hence, I usually flip it in less than three years.

I don't know why, but it seems like about every year, I get bored with whatever I'm driving, and then get something else. Is this bad? But in your case, your going with used cars that have gone past their huge peaks of depreciation. IMO I would do the same once major milestones in servicings came up (like 105K service on a TL) or something of the nature to save some money and go to something else.

^ Isn't that the perfect way to do it? Keep trading cars for ones in the same price range and you always have a fresh ride haha. It looks like you have tons of money to spend on cars, when in reality it's just trading. The only money I actually would lose, if I bought a G for the same price I sold my TL, is the registration costs and taxes.

Now that I'm older, I'm faced with other financial obligations that prevent me from swapping cars for the fun of it (a huge house payment). So my advice is get as much seat time in as possible and fuck as many different people as you can fit into your schedule, because once you become strapped to one woman and a house there isn’t enough money or free time left over for your ass or your dick. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
