Crazy Driver in Mustang GT

I was minding my own business doing 35-40 in a 35 zone. Mustang GT pulls up, all lanes to my right (2) are open yet this guy proceeds to cross the double yellow lines and goes around me into oncoming traffics' lanes to cut me off.

I'm so over racing and I don't care when others cut me off, but this was just way out of line, no? I just hope he doesn't go and kill someone other than himself later.

There are dumbasses everywhere... Some guy in an old Silverado wanted to race me once (in the TL of all cars) because I was in a hurry and sped up for a yellow, which he also did. When I didn't bite, he started cutting me off, brake checking me, falling back, and repeating.

Water under the bridge... Just hope he just kills himself and doesn't hurt anyone else in the process.

If you guys think that is bad, try driving in the streets of Manhattan everyday like I do.
The yellow cabs of NYC are notorious drivers...drifting into lanes without signaling, brake checking, riding brakes, stopping traffic just to get across to the other side of the street...stealing peoples money(link)amongst other things...

I had road rage & high blood pressure like a mutha up until 3 months ago because of them, but all that subsided and i learned that you cannot change what's out there. You can only chance what's inside.

So you're doing 35 in a 35 chilling in the passing lane when lanes are open to your right?

I had some douche in a Ram diesel pickup try that with me once. I've also run into another guy on a couple occasions, who drives a baby blue Ford pickup (don't know the model, it was a bit bigger than a Ranger) who when caught at a red light, tries to race the guy in the lane next to him when it hits green.

I don't know what's up with these people and pickups...

I was taking the RL for gas yesterday and this girl in a Hyundai Accent 3-door would tailgate me and back off, get close and back off. It was really annoying. At the bottom of the hill the road widens at a light. The additional lane is for right turns but it also goes straight and then ends after the signal. As I approach the red light, she gets in the right lane to try to pass me but because the right lane ends, I always take the left. Well the light turns green before I get to the stop line and I just wailed on it.

That Accent never stood a chance.

Silly me. When I'm in town I stay in the lane that I need to be in to get where I'm going.

You guys are confusing open highway conduct with city driving conduct.

I said 35-40.

I should have mentioned the time. It was 10:50 PM at night time. There were almost no cars on the road. And. It was on surface streets.

Slow Traffic Keep Right, I absolutely agree, however, this rule applies to the freeway.

Moreover, Even if I was going 35 in the left lane on a local street, this in no way validates the stupidity of his driving.

Some hotshot douche was behind me as I was driving about 35 in a residential area. He blows past me in the center turn lane and right through a 4 way stop going probably 45.

He was in a white mustang. If that mattered.

Yeah, I wanted to do a lot of things in the heat of the moment, but just let everything go. I'm in LA and you just never know what some people here will do , or pull on you.
