Clutch delay valve

Clutch delay valve
Hey guys, so I just got my 07 type s 6 speed and as I was driving it for the first time, I decided to go through the gears pretty hard to test it out, and at first I thought that the clutch was slipping, but then when I lugged it there was no slipping at all and it seemed to shift fine when slowly shifting. So I researched and it sounds like there is a clutch delay valve? I'm used to my gar where you can just quickly go through the gears and this seems like a performance killer... I wasn't powershifting or anything crazy either. Thoughts?

Welcome...there's a fantastic set of threads on that but to answer your question very simply...fk yes, remove it.
Also...look into ac delco manual tranny fluid with friction modifiers, a short shift kit, delrin shifter bushings...a weighted knob...
will be shifter heaven for you.

ha, I know, and I appreciate it. I just try to avoid being the guy who doesn't even try to search before posting.. Apologizing in advice!
Looks like it's a simple little mod removing a piece of plastic in the slave cylinder. I will attempt this weekend, for sure!
