Wow, your car is really coming along! Not a bad list of mods considering how briefly you've had it and the newly developing aftermarket for it. The drop and spoiler really set it off. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't brimming with jealousy right now. I'll just have to settle living vicariously through some of you guys for a while. What's next in line for mods?
I've got some
things on order, one of which may actually be done this week
I'm still on the fence about boosting it. Accelerated Performance in Ohio has a turbo kit (first to market too), on 4psi it put down just shy of 220whp. Once ECUTek (the tuning program) can control more boost, theyre going to bump it up to ~8psi and see what it can do. The power is very linear, there is no lag or sudden bump in power. The graph actually looks like an NA motor. And that 220whp figure was with everything else being stock. No header, no exhaust. The turbo is fed off of the over-pipe, which cuts down cost since you dont need to run a dedicated turbo manifold. With aftermarket parts, Id be surprised if it doesnt hit 235whp on the same 4psi.
BUT, Im in talks with another shop about going a completely different direction. And I mean a complete 180.....but Im waiting for them to answer a few more of my questions.

Morgan, your tips look like peashooters..
Other than that, that car looks fkn orgasmic. Why can't someone mass produce a spoiler like THAT for the 3G!!! Gorgeous, man...great progress!

in addition, you need to stop being a selfish prick and sell that effin CL already. Someone else could be enjoying it! You know gdamm well you won't ever drive it again now that you have a stylish, badazz RWD platform...
Love love love it.
Sometimes the pictures make the car seem bigger than it is, but once you realize how small it is, it looks perfect. The ride height, wheels, spoiler, the exhaust tips, everything. Perfect.
And show some love to the CL, too!

Thanks guys! I spent about 1.5hrs washing the car this morning and it just poured!! FML
Pffft, Im never getting rid of the CL.
I havent gotten a chance to clean it, so no
I've yet to see another BRZ or FR-S on the road, aside from the three at the meet in June. I dont get it.
Thanks! It really is small. I was in NY last week and my friends girlfriend parked her Jetta next to it. The FR-S made the Jetta look like a full size car. It was hilarious.
And I need to clean up the CL and stretch its legs. It'll be two months this Saturday that it hasnt moved
I really do miss driving it though. I was watching videos of it last night. Hopefully Ill have some time this Sunday to work on it.

Glad you added that spoiler it's a great exterior piece and makes the car look quite nice. I'm debating getting one, but I do have a Genesis so it would mean selling the Genesis since I can't have two toys.
My only complaint about the FR-S is the stereo unit from the factory, it simply looks cheap as compared to the rest of the vehicle.

The spoiler looks great it flows perfectly with the rear quarter body lines. The car could be lower but I think it will look better when you get spacers and the wheels are flush then.
Lies! It's all Photoshopped I tell you!
Looking good Morgan. I love that spoiler, and I'm really glad you took that profile shot of the rear arches/spoiler, it shows that perfect body line. Now it's time to do something about the sound!

I was recently looking at getting an STi, until I decided to stick with Acura. Anyways, one of the Subaru dealers I was in contact with emailed me to follow up and I told them I'm changing direction, and that it is too bad Subaru is hurting themselves with taking such a long time between 2012 and 2013 orders. He replied back and said that was nothing - for every 4 FR-S models Scion gets, Subaru gets 1 BRZ.
What the hell are they doing.

What happened?
