civicdrivr's Z3 thread
I finally got to test drive a FR-S this past weekend... it was an automatic.
They said it'd be a four week wait until they received a manual so hopefully I'll get to test drive one of those.
But one thing I can say that goes for both the AT/MT is that the stock wheels are

Eventually.....No pics of drop yet, since its not level. The new brackets came in today, but Im in NY for my Uncles funeral. Im leaving around 5am tomorrow to make a 130pm appointment for testing. Hopefully itll be even tomorrow night.
Sorry to hear about your loss buddy. Can't wait to see moar low.
Thanks guys. I really didnt know my uncle that well, but it was tough seeing my father show a lot of emotion.
Re: Car - Its lowered and looking
The rear needs a 12mm spacer, the front looks fine. Im having it aligned in the morning and Ill see where the front wheels sit before I order anything though. For now I have adjustment in the rear. Vivid Racing and Cusco sell adjustable rear LCAs but they want $600+
Ill just wait until Megan gets a hold of them so the prices elsewhere will drop.
The car rides great though. Fortune Auto also gave me adjustable sway bar end links since the mount they have to use is lower profile, so it keeps the proper geometry. I plan on making my own for the rear too. I will eventually upgrade to Swift springs, since they are supposed to smooth out the ride even more. No pics for now, the car is filthy, Im exhausted, and I have to catch up on work.

This is all youre getting for now

I may make some adjustments, but Im not sure. At the current height, bumping up to a 245-35 will be at the fender. So I may just leave it there. And I just barely clear getting into my driveway.

...fkn thread got locked, sad about that. I was waiting on that motherfkr to pop back in and apologize for being full of shit. Plus, I called it first and I kinda wanted some props for not sucking his LFA dick right off the bat.
Anyway, Morgan, sorry to hear about your loss and the subsequent emotion from family/father. That's never fun to deal with.
Hope to see some great shots soon of the entire car, butter, bacon and all.
