While these super-SUVs aren't my thing, there's no denying their performance. The engineering is staggering.

It really is. I despise SUVs, but damn did that thing change my perspective. It's got the same trans and rear diff as the M5 (minus the rwd only mode), and that engine has gobs of torque. Driving it felt like I was driving a car. The seating position was perfect and visibility was pretty good too.

Interesting choice on the X3M for a test drive.

I've still got eyes on RS6 when I'm done with the Golf.

I do too, along with the e63 estate. But I figure I'm most likely leasing my next car to get me to the end of 2023, at which point I should be able to get into one of them on the used market. Most of the e63s I've been seeing of late have branded titles I'm hoping a few more years of them being on the road will open up a larger used market for them.

That will definitely be the case.
Or we can be true to ourselves and our love for each other, leave these gross girls behind and
go live in Europe, arm in arm...I'm a Swiss citizen, I can get you yours too after we get married.
Matching RS6 Avant.
Winning.

I wish I didn't have it. It's a hole in the ground money disappears into.

It's either too cold or too hot. Right now the water is 96 freaking degrees, that's a shitty hot tub.

She is a good sport!

lol

LMAO, she can live with us, she probably makes better omelets than both of us put together.
Plus, putting tire shine on for two big strong men is gonna wear out our backs. She can do that too.

Serious though...our pool is so fucking finicky...oh new creepy crawler...oh might need refinish...oh needs
another fucking $100 filter...and that's WITH my lady not being lazy and getting the water tested and
handling the chemicals. I just clean the filters and sweep the steps. It does give Daddy and edge with
Zoe though for when she decides what house she wants to go to.

Moving to Europe? Don't even need the RS6! Can go for RS4, C63, CLA45, CLS63, M340i, Golf R, Arteon R, etc etc etc all in wagon form!

Same. Houses with pools around here tend to sell for less than those without. People don't want a pool lol.

Also, can I visit too?

Hard pass on a pool but, hot tub? I've had one for about 5 years now .. no ragrets.

Chemicals are easy to figure out and if you're handy, replacing pumps / components is bolt-on / bolt-off.

I do want a hot tub. I think I'll be ok with one too - I spent a good portion of my youth being handy.

My only advice is .. keep the chemicals in check at all times. My jetpump died a bit prematurely because the bearing inside took a shit due to the acidity.

Otherwise, chemicals aren't terribly expensive and my lawd, it's 1000000% worth it when you're constantly injured like me

It is nice having a pool, but it can be a lot of work.
Ours is ~23k gal, so it can be a bear to keep in check.

Pass on that too, it's just a petri dish of chemicals and/or germs. Friend had a hot tub and hated it. We ended up helping him cut it up with a sawzall and got rid of it.

Hell, we have a big sauna in our house and I've never used it lol. It's just a storage room.

In Florida a hot tub seems like a good idea but eventually you feel like jumping into a warm tub of piss on a hot day is a bad idea.

While you're freaking out about germs ... I'll be sipping a cocktail.

That's a car you can carry kids around on the regular ... do the dirty dirty with the wifey on date night, AND you can take a corpse to the cemetery without raising a brow.

I support the suggestion!
