Bulging Headlights
Bulging Headlights
i'm noticing a trend now with newer models having bulging headlights. for example: the new accord sedan, G, TSX, etc...not the previous camry that had the bubbly headlights.
is there a purpose to this or is it just for cosmetics.

It might just be a trend, just like high belt-lines, wrap-around headlights (notice how cars nowadays have headlights that wrap halfway into the front fenders), "euro-style" taillights... man, I hate those, especially on a Japanese car (looking at you, Nissan Altima).

didnt these "Euro" style tail lights start on the Lexus IS300 or the Toyota Altezza?
Yes, it is fashionable. As long as you love
and I mean you are a ricer. They are popular on the Toyota Altezza (old IS Lexus), every Honda known to man, sans the Legend (RL), and the Nissan 180SX / Silvia (240SX). Now, fashion on a Kie car (660 cc or less) doesn't matter. They do weird things here, like air fresheners that look like hemp leaves, replacing the rear windshield wiper with a metal hand (so it waves when turned on), lighting up everything with LED's, etc... I could go on for a long time with the crap they sell here.
Personally, I don't like it. I think it is OK on a select few cars (last generation Soarer comes to mind. The old SC series from Lexus), but looks like
on the rest.

high belt lines are here to stay, it's because of side impact safety concerns that they are like that these days.
