does anybody know how to remove a 1999 ford ranger grill? need help!!!

 

I have no idea, but if it's similar to most newer Ford grills, lift the hood and observe the dozen or so screws on top of the grill surround. Remove the screws. After doing so there should be about six to eight clips around the grill surround (inside of grill). Gently lift the tops of the clips lightly (too much and it will break) until loose.

That should be it. Advice caveat emptor. Never had to remove the grill on a Ranger before.

Terry has the right idea-- the grill is one of those parts that you can't really mess up if you just start unscrewing screws in an orderly fashion. It's a safe way to become a DIY car person. Worse thing that can happen is you run across a snag, can't remove it and just have to replace all the screws.

You can also go to the nearest library and get the Haynes, Chilton or whatever shop manual to see what it says.

If it was a Chevy, it would just fall off on its own, right?
