Back in Honda world
In recent used compact cars in 9-11K$ range, there is basically none. Above that range, I prefer new. IIRC, 2012 is the first year that those devices are on all versions.
I am not interested in paying 1000-1200$ for A/C at all. I had plenty of cars without it and in Canada, it is not as much as a concern as in the Southern US. We will survive.

So? You're hyper-reactionary. The slightest bit of criticism of your position and you launch into histrionics and invectives (for example - https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...1&postcount=69). You're just as guilty of derails as anyone who "started it."
Nevertheless, pretty sure you launched the first salvo here: https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...6&postcount=16

React to a BB gun with a 1000lb. bomb. Overkill.
"slightest criticism and you launch into histrionics and invectives."
I see no financial benefit to leasing a brand new car for a teenager given the plethora of available, and cheap, used cars our there.
There. I've opined. Feel happy now?

Good grief, you can't help yourself, can you?
You talking about this statement - "THE factor I went new is because standard ESP / 6 airbags is standard. Security is an important consideration (again the car is for our children). I am a strong believer in these technologies and decided to put my money where my mouth is."?
Are you suggesting there are no used cars with the adequate safety features?

BTW, yes I spend more to get ESP. I remember that exactly 20 years ago, I did the same when I insisted to get ABS as a 600$ option on my then brand new Mazda MX-3 Precidia GS V6 1.8L 1992.
Enjoy your Whitney Houston songs, drag queens style (of course).
Saintor, just leave the forum dude. Seriously.
Everyone hates you. What do you get out of this?
Every thread you post turns into this type of garbage.
I really do feel sorry for you dude.

Only a gay would say this kind of stuff to two males.
No. You don't deserve that since you did it in a relatively civil manner.

It was too small for a 6 with no low-end guts. Many did a 2.5L swap from the MX-6/626/Probe. However it had a great engine note (rev limiter was 7500rpm).

i would expect that to rev close to 10k to make any kind of power.
