I'm keeping this car. I would be getting about car if I need to. Really dont feel like adding more power to this car now. I'm pretty confident that I would want to get more after more seat time at the track later. But I cant even handle 200hp properly right now. Really no point in adding more.

Anyway, just finished installing the exhaust. My friend did it for me at his garage. Sounds awesome! Finally I can hear the exhaust from the back. The car feels more raw. No drone on the freeway. It's pretty quiet low. Gets much louder on top end. Good for $100.

Will be selling my GT86 exhaust tips for like $80 probably haha. Winning.

By the way, the stock exhaust is really.. heavy. This new catback is lighter. Thats like the best part.

Eventually, I want to get a Tomei 60R. Thats the lightest set up for our car I believe.

Awesome, man...especially at that price.

Is Meko interested in your tip(s)?

Just got this off the Tomei thread in FT86 forum.

TYPE-60S The sports model designed for sound quality, noise levels & performance
Stock: 17.4 kg.
Type 60S: 6.4 kg

TYPE-60R The race model, designed for exhaust flow & weight reduction.
Stock : 17.4 kg
Type 60R : 4.6 kg

TYPE-80 The high flow model for forced induction setups
Stock : 17.4 kg
Type 80 : 7.3 kg

I think my new one is like at least 50% lighter lol

Was MEKO looking for the GT86 tips!? Man someone already bought them. Sold it for $80+Shipping 15 minutes after I posted it on the forum. haha I bought these for $90 last February I think.

OMG I love having an exhaust. I want to drive my car even more now.

Just went out for a nice drive just for fun. Love how I can hear louder throttle every time I downshift!

Congrats on the exhaust!

It's always a must-have mod for me.

Please take DSLR pictures! And video, too!

You figure out how to fit a car seat in that thing buddy.

I found this locally, I am trying to find a time to test fit my Recaro Pro Ride baby seat into it now that my son is front facing.

That one doesn't seem like a good deal! You are just test fitting the car seat on that one right?

Yes, and I know people. King is the last name of the owner of the dealership. It has been in business for over half a century, Lets just say I know Mr. King. I wouldn't be paying that price at all. They also have had that vehicle on the lot for about 5-6 months.

In your opinion whats a good price?

If the car seat fits, I will snap some pictures. If it is a terrible failure, I wont post pictures.

$100 catback?! wtf? I thought I got good deals on my stuff... what brand is it?

I've always said that - how a car looks and drives definitely factors into its enjoyment factor. But how it sounds shouldn't be underrated.

Haha pretty crazy huh? It's called Tsudo. It's one of the cheapest ones for our cars. I've had them on for about 2 weeks now. I like it a lot! It gives very deep throaty sound. It definitely added another aspect to the driving experience. I love it when I go up to the canyon. I can actually hear my exhaust sound. haha

The thing that I LOVE about it is not the sound though. It's the weight. This thing is so much lighter than the stock catback. Jesus, our stock axleback section is SUPER heavy.

I would eventually upgrade to Tomei for that super lightness, but that's like way way later. I didn't want the exhaust before. Just couldn't pass up this deal.

Oh btw.. I bought another stock wheel/tire set for $150 two days ago..

And flipped them to a local member for $350 today. AND he was actually stocking out his car. He had the STi style sideskirt that I always wanted for sale. So he gave it to me for $100.

I need to get some 3M double sided tape for it and install it! It'll look !

I booked an appointment for tomorrow morning. Just gonna get them installed. I kinda like the contrast that it gives. Maybe later I'll get the roof wrapped in black to match the lips.
