I like it. How far has tire paint came? I heard there was a lot of problems with adhesion when it first came out..
When I plastidipped my brand new wheels, the brand new Hankooks had just been mounted as well. I didnt tape off any of the sidewalls and didn't have enough overspray on the tire to make peeling it off an easy task. Till this day, there is bronze plastidip stuck on the letters because of the tiny ribbed pattern on them.. even after taking a pressure washing wand to them. It's stuck on there so good I was thinking of using white plastidip on my next set of tires since my current set has had tire dressing on them one or two times, thanks to my brother washing my car (I'm not a fan of tire dressing).

I used an oil based paint pen you can get at any craft store. When I did this last year I bought a Sharpie version. This year I couldn't find the Sharpie and went with a brand called Craft Smart. It works really well. Buy the thinnest marker possible or else it comes out looking like a 2nd grader did it.

It was through a new norcal track group called Speed Dynamics. It's supposed to be $140, but my track friends got a group discount.. only $100 baby!
AND each group is capped at 20 cars which is like super empty. Can't wait. It'll be my first time tracking with a fresh set of RS3s and the coilovers.

Hankook RS3s are cheaper and better!
Nevermind, tires are pretty cheap in general for 17's!

Next time I go visit my in-laws, I'll have to find some time to get out to Willow Springs, they're pretty close by in Tehachapi.

That's right. Just realized that's the car that I was cross shopping. hahaha
You won't believe how much $$ that thing eats up for modding/maintenance/gas. He spends at least 3 times more than what I have to spend for the same stuff.
Anyway, I did take some pics with Scott's camera. haha This is the first one.

Went to Long Beach Grand Prix for the first time. It was AWESOME. Can't believe I didn't attend this one before after all those years in LA.
Ferrari led 95% of 100 minutes of the race, and BMW passed it. Pretty epic.
Ferrari/Corvette/Porsche all sounded EPIC. Mazda SkyActiv LM ones sounded terrible, and they were slow.

Noooo he's too busy. haha
So we went back to LBGP yesterday. It was AWESOME. The Indycar series was so much faster.
The race didn't have much drama in the end like the Saturday's race, but it was still pretty good. Just sitting there watching the cars blast away made me want to get out to the track and drive.
May 10th! PLEASE COME FAST!

With a bit of luck on my end, I've managed to direct trade my stock exhaust for Borla catback exhaust....
I'm planning to swap this one in and sell my older Tsudo catback for $200. And while at it, I'll be changing out my stock diff and transmission fluid with Motul 300.
Everything will be done on this Sunday with a forum member.
I'm pretty excited since my Tsudo catback wasn't as loud as I wanted my car to be. This Borla should be much better.
One thing that concerns me is that I might need to pick up a real rear diffusor.. No huge muffler in the rear end means much less weight so it's good, BUT the rear section should create drag when going +100mph I believe. We'll see.
Interesting looking core in the midpipe

you stock exhaust is probably worth $100, so you got the Borla for $100 again.
Based on my personal experience, depends on how much difference in weight between your stock and Borla, you might need to adjust your rear suspension again.

Anyway, good point. I'll ask around about the rear suspension set up. Borla is about 20 lbs lighter than the stock muffler.
Thanks man. Can't wait for this Sunday!
New exhaust/New fluid for transmission and diff!
Just found out that I don't even need the gaskets for the Borla since it has those little tighteners.

you might as well add a high flow cat while you are at it.
I think that is where you can actually get a few HP. I am sure you can find one for $100.
