That's why I got it, a roller that carries a lot of gear. There's one even bigger. But sold it and got this, but not at that price.

But it came in handy last Sunday when I took pics of my friends paintballing
edit: also manual focus with live view is f'in bomb.
the biggest thing I miss it for is composing a shot without looking in the viewfinder... which lets you put the camera in precarious positions and compose... I would usually do that, and then turn it off to actually take the shot, since in Live view the AF takes forever on lock on, for whatever reason.

my a77 has the "peaking" (manual) focusing feature... Do you know what that is?
the peaking feature has nothing to do over/under exposure... it's a focusing ad. So, when you use manual focus mode or when using a manual focus lens it helps pin point focus. So the highlighted area are in focus
Oh, to me it seemed to be showing areas that were overexposed as they focused. Glad that it clear. Thnx

not sure how it is on the A77...
I can see the limitation in low contrast, but my a77's peaking works I'm portrait mode. What does BG stand for?
However, focus peaking has its limitations. Because it detects only high-contrast edges, it doesn't work on low-contrast subjects. And if the subject happens to be the same colour as the peaking display, then the highlighted edges will be almost invisible. It's also worth noting that it only works in one direction - vertical edges in landscape format - which can occasionally cause problems.
To counter this, the NEX-7 has two settings which are worth exploring, to see which gives you optimum results. You can change the 'Peaking Level', which is essentially the contrast threshold for highlighting edges. The optimum setting for this can vary from lens to lens, for example you may need to set this to 'mid' or 'high' for relatively low-contrast fast primes used at maximum aperture. You can also select the 'Peaking Color' from a choice of white, red or yellow.

anyways I still think its useful
Hi guys,
wow I haven't posted here for so long.
I'm trying to sell my camera gears... unfortunately... I'm getting married next march and it's costing me so much money. And on top of it, I've been paying for my graduate school tuition.
I'm going to make a proper sale thread later tonight, but I wanted to let you guys know first since I want my gears to be sold to people who really care about the gears. I really really hate to sell my gears....
List of the items to be sold:
Canon 40D Gripped (No scratch whatsoever)
Tokina 11-16 f/2.8
Canon 50mm f/1.8
Lexar 8GB
PM me if you are interested.
