did you buy camera stuff? if so, what?

I wants a new camera to collect dust.
Actually I just want to get one with a lithium ion battery, the NI-MH battery in my 1D2N sux cause they always self discharge so if I want to shoot I have to remember to charge the night before.

yeah, cheapest Ive ever seen is $900, and with unknown origins. No camera stuff has been purchased by me in a long time. I've been lacking the motivation lately, been busy spending money on my new project Bronco, and just booked a trip to Disney for the end of January. However, I am going to use that as an excuse to buy some ND filters, and maybe upgrade my Sigma 24-60 to a Canon 17-55. I think I'm going to pick up a used 70-200 F2.8 for the trip then offload it when I get home.

fun stuff, a friend sent me this, appears to be a fridge magnet. I have no idea who that company is and surely was never contacted about anything. (that is my flower picture). anyways.

thanks for the input, I guess that's what you get for throwing so many pictures online. even at small size! I uploaded this only at 720px. I am planning to contact them and figure something out.
funny how the magnet says "contact us for a free quote". oh I'll contact you, and I'll give YOU a 'free' quote.
Marc I did have a S95, I loved it. great little cam, great for regular everyday purposes.

Yea I still want to get a S95/100 camera since I don't use my DSLR as much. That and a NEX-7
Really wish I had a camera that could hold a charge. About 2 weeks ago it was very windy and it cleared out everything in the sky, had some great views of San Francisco. But my camera was dead and i had work all day
And I still need some legs for my ball head too

I happen to work at a large (Top 100 in the US) law firm and the primary IP department happens to be right down the hall from me and I happen to be buds with many in the department. So I just talked to one of the senior IP partners about this and he said suing the company would go into the 1000's just for legal fees and given that it appears to be a small business, that would not be economical for either of us. He suggested I go a 'cease and desist' route just to get them to stop using the image. I told him how I would like to get some kind of monetary compensation for this, and he suggested to contact them and ask for a reasonable value for them using my image. So I am gonna go that route and see what happens. I think I'll have to come at it at the right angle, so I can maximize the chances of hearing back from them. I think there's a good chance they will ignore me. Anyways,

cool bag - a little suitcase (for clothes) and camera bag in one. the camera portion is a separate shoulder bag that can be removed.

as soon as I posted that I started waiting for your response. I'll give you $300 since it has those HUGE gashes in the lens
just wanted to see what the original looked like, like if they cropped out stuff
