he posted a response, you know these days many people try to stand out by going "viral" with something on teh intarweb, personally I think that's all he was doing. And, it worked, he turned heads, he got some extra notice, new followers, etc.

Monday’s post brought a tonne of new readers. If you’re new hear, welcome here. Feel free to poke around, leave a comment of introduction, and be sure to check out the five years of archives. If you’re looking to improve your craft then I heartily recommend you check out Within The Frame, The Journey of Photographic Vision. if you’re looking to improve your business I can’t think of a better book than VisionMongers, Making A Life and Living in Photography. I wrote both of them so if I were you I’d be very suspicious of the recommendation, but I recommend them all the same. Also check out CraftAndVision.com, the online home of my eBooks. Improve Your Craft, Buy Less Gear. And all of them for only $5 each. Welcome here.

Anything particular about the Olympus that keeps attracting you vs. the Panny equivalents? Just curious.
On a side note, I've seen multiple people mentioning that they liked the Panasonic 20mm f/1.t pancacke lens on their EP-1 so I don't see why it wouldn't also be nice glass for the EP-2.

U2410’s 12-bit internal processing not
only helps deliver 1.07 billion colors
resulting in excellent color details and no
loss in tones and hues, it also provides
a high dynamic contrast ratio which
helps produce amazing and vivid

I have a SX2210 BNIB if someone's want's to buy it. Came with computer, but I won't use it. It's a $250, I'll sell for $200 shipped.
Isn't the 27" the same panel that was causing yellow screens on the 27" iMacs? The last I read of that issue on the Apple front was that the problem was caused by a manufacturing defect in the panel itself. I'd be very hesitant to by the Dell monitor if it indeed is using the same panel.
Haven't heard any bad press/reviews for the U2711.

the U2410 came out around august 2009.

the U2710 came out around jan/feb of this year?

i think i was a little confused because i heard about the U2410 a long time ago.
FYI for anyone reasonably serious about using a Canon for video. I'm pretty sure somebody mentioned this back when Canon announced it, but now it's actually released.

so I think Ive given up on the 4/3 camera quest, I've decided that I don't want to get one and then have to build up (costly) lenses for it. I'd rather use that dough elsewhere. I think I'll get the S90 instead.
I don't think you'll have to build up a lot of lens for it. A fast prime, like a 20mm and a zoom, would be all you need.
I read about many of Nikon guys that have bought them though, most do what I've done, a D90 or D5000, after they have tried a 4/3rd or even a p&s.

oh also I read the new Olympus Pen focuses considerably slower than the Panny. I think that would bug the hell out of me. This old Nikon E4500 focuses slow as hell and it bugs me lol.
I guess I wanted a camera I could put in my pocket. But maybe carrying around a small SLR ain't so bad. Maybe I should look at that D5000.
